What a fascinating and inspiring visit from @MackayAlix telling our Norway Club at @rdmscone about the history of the Norway-UK collaboration in the Heroes of Telemark and her own adventure recreating it with @ForcesWivesChal #ErasmusPlus @Norw_Scot_News

We are really looking forward to welcoming @MackayAlix to our Norway Club meeting tonight. P7 and S1/2 pupils from @perthacademy will be hearing all about the Forces' Wives Challenge ladies who recreated the 'Heroes of Telemark' journey, skiing across Hardangervidda in Norway

Today, Norway Club P7 pupils at @RDMScone led a presentation at assembly that they had researched about Scotland & Norway’s connections during WW2, including about the Shetland ‘Bus’. Well done on all your research. #RemembranceDay @PaMemorial

Today we shared a big part of our #ErasmusPlus project between Scottish and Norwegian pupils and teacher. After the Norwegians had been to P1 & P3 to read stories in English to pupils, the joined P7 peers to build shelters in a joint #outdoorlearning lesson. @RDMScone

We ended the day with a Ceilidh for everyone, including parents, siblings and staff. There was a lot of Scottish country dancing, singing, food and friendships being further strengthened between the pupils. #ErasmusPlus @RDMScone

We have had a very active day today, visiting Lochore Meadows with P6/7 pupils from @RDMScone and Norwegian visitors. We tried canoeing and biking there before @perthacademy S1s joined us at @PerthUHISport climbing wall this evening. #ErasmusPlus

We were very privileged to have a tour of the @ScotParl with Deputy First Minister @JohnSwinney, also @RDMScone’s MSP. He explained how the Parliament was reestablished, built and how it functions today, and we were able to make comparisons with Norway’s @Stortinget. #ErasmusPlus

We had a fascinating evening with Brian from @SconePalace and @BeechgroveGdn explaining a huge amount about Scotland’s amazing trees and natural wildlife, as well as the amazing story of David Douglas, Scone’s most famous son (or is he?!). #ErasmusPlus @perthacademy

On the afternoon of day one we were pleased to welcome back four @perthacademy pupils (formerly of @RDMScone of course) to help our discussion groups about how #sustainable our respective school communities are. Very enlightening points of view shared! #ErasmusPlus

Thank you for having us @RDMScone. Such wonderful kids, and a great way to finish this terms tour before we do The Cinnamon Sisters at @HorsecrossPerth before touring BOUNCE more in 2022!
With health and wellbeing a strong feature of our curriculum we have been delighted to welcome @DirlbaneTheatre and their fantastic production ‘Bounce’ to work with our P4’s and P5’s. The children explored a range of strategies to understanding identifying emotions. #emotions

Really enjoyed my Climate Surgery this morning with P7 pupils @RDMScone. Pupils told me of their dialogue with schools in Norway, Argentina and Morocco to understand the effects of climate change in those countries and set out their hopes for #COP26Glasgow. Great discussion.
