Phantasy Archives, by @IndianRevisited hymie.substack.com/p/phantas…
Gifted researcher Michelle Stirling criticizes Raymond Frogner, Chief Archivist of the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation, for falsely claiming that public archives lack sufficient records about Indian Residential School students. She argues that the lack of comprehensive records is due to historical factors, including limited literacy among indigenous communities, the destruction of records during the Great Depression and World War II, and the fact that most indigenous children attended residential schools. Conversely, she shows that a mountain of records exists, such as those for Michel Red Crow. She also emphasizes the importance of understanding their historical context.

Disturbing new details about why TMU redacted the report into its institutional campus antisemitism, by @IndianRevisited hymie.substack.com/p/disturb…
According to National Post columnist John Ivison, Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) redacted a report by retired justice Mary Lou Benotto that concluded the university’s own codes of conduct were breached during antisemitic incidents on campus. The redactions concealed Benotto’s findings, allowing TMU to avoid taking action. The university has appointed a task force, led by former Ontario premier Bob Rae, to review the report, but critics argue this is merely a delay tactic.
His piece tells me that TMU is content to be Canada’s leading campus hotbed of anti-semitism.
Elevating ‘Indigenous Science’ subverts real science, by @IndianRevisited hymie.substack.com/p/elevati…
In the piece below, I critique the federal government’s push to decolonize research by prioritizing indigenous knowledge over the results of the Western scientific method. In particular, I argue that indigenous and scientific knowings are fundamentally incompatible and that the government’s approach undermines the universal principles of science. I also question the validity of the concept of “Indigenous Science,” arguing that it lacks the rigour and falsifiability of the scientific method.

Is Wab Kinew a denialist?, by @IndianRevisited hymie.substack.com/p/is-wab-…
Retired Manitoba judge Brian Giesbrecht says that Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew is being criticized for implying that deaths at the Brandon Indian Residential School were criminal, despite the fact that most deaths were due to disease, a common occurrence at the time among all ethnic and racial groups in Canada and elsewhere. Giesbrecht argues that the focus on residential school deaths ignores the much higher mortality rates on reserves due to disease, and that this selective focus constitutes a form of denialism. The author urges the Premier to address the real issues facing Indigenous communities, such as the significant life expectancy gap compared to other Canadians.
Marc Miller Greatest Grifts #2, by @IndianRevisited hymie.substack.com/p/marc-mi…
According to Michelle Stirling, a British Columbia lawyer was disciplined by the Law Society of BC for hiring a convicted killer to assist residential school survivors with their compensation claims. The lawyer, representing 624 clients, received $10.5 million in fees, while the clients received $70 million in payouts, $21,000 higher than the national average. The Law Society ruling highlighted the potential for exploitation and victimization in the compensation process.
Every Living Child Matters Most of All, by @IndianRevisited hymie.substack.com/p/every-l…
In late September 2026, Michelle Stirling had a chance to chat with Jason James of the Brave New Normal podcast about “The Truth About Truth and Reconciliation.” James is very outspoken about the chaos and despair many First Nations people suffer on reserve.

She shares his view that Canada is now dominated by a death cult, focused on the past, with little hope for resolution or reconciliation as long as people are mired in rhetoric that claims Indian Residential Schools are responsible for the current situation in many Indigenous tribes - often ascribed to intergenerational trauma.
But only one third of Status Indians ever attended Indian Residential Schools, most of them for about 4 years. That means only one sixth of all Indigenous children ever attended, as Inuit and Metis originally were never part of this treaty-based educational obligation.
Residential schools cannot be the root cause of the present sorrows and chaos.
Beyond condemnation, by @IndianRevisited hymie.substack.com/p/beyond-…
According to a comprehensive MacDonald-Laurier Institute report by Peter Copeland, Sheryl Saperia, and Mark Sandler, despite existing laws against antisemitism, hate speech, and terrorism, enforcement in Canada is inconsistent and inadequate. Challenges include evidentiary difficulties, political sensitivities, and a perceived lack of political direction. This has led to a gap between legal protections and the reality faced by Jewish Canadians, who are increasingly targeted by harassment, intimidation, and violence.
Marc Miller’s Greatest Grifts! #1, by @IndianRevisited hymie.substack.com/p/marc-mi…
Michelle Stirling criticizes Liberal federal government Minister Marc Miller for promoting the documentary “Sugarcane,” which she rightly claims is a misleading and exploitative portrayal of indigenous elder Antoinette Archie’s story. Stirling argues that the film falsely accuses priests and nuns of crimes and uses emotional manipulation to incite hatred against the Catholic Church and Canadian history. She also suggests that Miller’s endorsement of the film is a form of grifting and hinders true reconciliation.

The decade of deception, by @IndianRevisited hymie.substack.com/p/stop-th…
Outstanding researcher and wordsmith Michelle Stirling carefully critiques “The Secret Path,” a multimedia package about Chanie Wenjack’s death, alleging it misrepresents the facts. She rightly claims the story inaccurately depicts the school as run by priests and nuns, when it was Presbyterian, and that Chanie’s death was due to hypothermia and adult irresponsibility, not abuse. She also correctly questions the integrity of the Gord Downie and Chanie Wenjack Fund, which promotes the story and has amassed significant assets doing so.
Can Truth Survive Campus Totalitarianism?, by @IndianRevisited hymie.substack.com/p/can-tru…
James Pew discusses the rise of campus totalitarianism in Canada, particularly at universities, where social justice activists employ violent tactics and double standards to silence dissenting voices. Professor Frances Widdowson, a prominent advocate for free speech, has faced repeated assaults and arrests while attempting to engage in open dialogue.
Pew highlights an alarming trend: authorities appease activists while suppressing peaceful dissent, undermining free speech and open inquiry.
BACK TO SCHOOL, by @IndianRevisited hymie.substack.com/p/back-to…
According to Pat Johnson, a report by IMPACT-se reveals that the Palestinian Authority’s 2025-26 curriculum continues to teach hatred and violence towards Jews, despite promises of reform. The curriculum glorifies martyrdom, portrays Jews negatively, and omits peace agreements and coexistence. This indoctrination persists despite international funding and the devastation of Gaza, highlighting the need for a curriculum that promotes accuracy, peace, and coexistence.
ARTISANAL ANTISEMITISM (Fan Fave #37), by @IndianRevisited hymie.substack.com/p/artisan…
Righteous Gentile, Pat Johnson, argues that antisemitism, historically a form of snobbery in North America, has evolved and become more prevalent. The rise of anti-Zionism, particularly after the Second Intifada, has provided a socially acceptable outlet for antisemitism, disguising it as criticism of the Jewish state. This “artisanal antisemitism” has gained traction, with many unaware of its roots in age-old bigotry.
Arab Israelis just ruined a favorite lie about Israel, by @IndianRevisited hymie.substack.com/p/arab-is…
According to Joshua Hoffman, Arab Israelis played a pivotal role in Israel’s recent election, with their votes potentially determining the country’s political future. Despite accusations of apartheid, Arab citizens in Israel actively participate in the democratic process, voting, organizing political parties, and influencing government policies. This election highlights the complexity and diversity of Israeli society, challenging simplistic apartheid narratives often portrayed internationally.
Canadian province elects first Conservative majority in 100 years, by @IndianRevisited hymie.substack.com/p/canadia…
Lifesite News offered a concise summary of the Conservative Party of British Columbia’s big win on October 24, ending decades of NDP and Liberal rule. Premier-designate Lorne Doerkson promised to reverse economic stagnation, restore property rights, and battle a “woke” agenda. He also pledged to repeal the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (DRIPA) and ban SOGI ideology from public schools.
Study: Academic Bias Shaped International Law’s Israel Consensus, by @IndianRevisited hymie.substack.com/p/study-a…
Sally Prag shows that Avraham Russell Shalev’s forthcoming paper argues that the international legal consensus on Israel is shaped by an academic environment that marginalizes Jewish and Zionist perspectives. Shalev contends that the infrastructure producing international-law expertise, including journals, conferences, and professional networks, systematically excludes these perspectives, leading to a narrow ideological framework on Israel. She examines controversies involving legal journals, conferences, and informal boycotts of Israeli scholars, highlighting how academic institutions shape which scholars and interpretations gain legitimacy.
I accept Prag and Shalev’s interpretation because Western DEI/Woke interpretations of reality were born and bred in institutions of so-called higher learning, then spread like a modern-day deadly plague to the rest of society.
In Praise of Islamophobia, by @IndianRevisited hymie.substack.com/p/in-prai…
In the following essay, Paul Finlayson critiques Islam, arguing that it is not just a religion but a holistic way of thinking, believing, and living with its own legal and governance system. Finlayson highlights the challenges posed by Islam’s immutable divine law and its historical ties to political and military power. He also contends that these aspects of Islam warrant scrutiny and debate, challenging the notion that criticism of the religion is inherently Islamophobic. He also urges that individual Moslems need to be distinguished from the all-encompassing phenomenon called Islam.
None of his views are particularly controversial since they have been repeatedly expressed in words and deeds by Muslims and non-Muslims alike for centuries.
According to Juno News, Liberal MPs accused Rebel News of a “campaign of hate” over its Orange Shirt Day merchandise, which features slogans questioning claims of unmarked graves at former residential schools. Rebel News editor-in-chief Sheila Gunn Reid denied the accusations, stating the merchandise represents a different point of view and does not deny the existence of residential schools or the mistreatment of children. The controversy centres on the former Kamloops Indian Residential School, where preliminary radar findings suggested the presence of unmarked graves, but no remains have been recovered.
