GDP increased at a 2.6% seasonally-adjusted annual rate in 4Q17 (first estimate), down from 3.2% in 3Q. Although the headline came in below the 2.9% Bloomberg consensus, the components were strong, especially Personal Consumption Expenditures (3.8%) and Personal Income (4.4%).

As expected, the FOMC elected to raise the target fed funds rate range 0.25% to 1.25% to 1.5%. Notably, the committee raised its 2018 GDP forecast from 2.1% to 2.5%, but maintained its 2.1% YE18 funds forecast. RCR's forecasts for 2018 GDP and YE18 fed funds are 2.2% and 2.25%

Re: conference agreement on #GOPTaxBill - lots of rumors, not a lot of concrete facts. Hearing that PABs and LIHTC may be safe in agreement, but not certain. Will share more asap.
