そしてなによりスタッフの熱気が画面から感じられるのが良い。それがフィルムに如実に表れている。きっと楽しんで作っているんだろうなと感じるし、実際スタジオはお祭りムードでみんな楽しそうでした。僕は楽しむ暇などないくらい必死だったけど、そんなスタジオの雰囲気は印象的でした。

天国の扉、セルアニメーション最末期の貴重な劇場作品であると同時に、無国籍の世界観でありながら、映画にするならNYCだ！という映画好きのスタッフの想いが結集された舞台は、良き時代のNYCがそのままフィルムに焼き付いていると思います。あんまりそういうアニメ他にないのでは。

This and "Hikari" (Kingdom Hearts) were the best singles on the album, and I love that their MVs are so different: There's so much going on here you can't look away, and the other is simply a single steady long shot of Hikaru just washing dishes for 4 minutes. Perfect pairing!
