I think like 70% of being crazy (eg “crazy bf/gf”) is being too reactive, which comes from being uncomfortable. If you’re comfortable reactivity naturally goes down. Harder to be crazy if you’re just happy, comfortable, and relaxed. Comfort is trainable with equanimity practice
The more I accept sensations as impermanent (as opposed to things I must be for or against), the more fully I taste them as they are passing through.
Winter has always been tough for me. As the first cold days are settling in, I'm realizing the ordeal they bring is intricately linked with childhood emotional hardship. I never addressed it under this perspective before.
How can we make this winter a vector for transformation ?
