@WHO updates list of #AMR drug-resistant bacteria most threatening to human health. Macrolide-resistant #StrepA and penicillin-resistant #StrepB are newly added. #vaccines will reduce the spread and burden of disease caused by #AMR pathogens! #glycotime
The updated Bacterial Priority Pathogens List features 15 families of antibiotic-resistant bacteria.
To guide the development of new treatments to prevent #AntimicrobialResistance, it sorts them into priorities:

Will try to summarise thoughts on scarlet fever -talking to GP's this week. SF usually peaks in March/April in England not Nov. High rates of SF in England since 2014 (2014 London strains were M3, M4, M12), with yearly increases & expansion of toxigenic new M1UK lineage 2016.
