.@maddow shrewdly pointing out that people whose response to the Speaker of the House’s husband being assaulted with a hammer is to mock it and celebrate are telling us very clearly that this is what they want to be able to subject their political opponents to without consequence

Today in Alabama, we focused our day of the march on the history of Lowndes County. After the Voting Rights Act was signed into law in 1965, Black tenant farmers who registered to vote/engaged in activities around voting rights were evicted from their homes by white landowners.
Interesting that the newspaper considers democracy and expressing a different voiced opinion for Camden residents fireworks. I ask again, who do you work for?
Tuesday’s agenda for Camden City Council’s “virtual” 2022 reorganization meeting is brief and looks fairly routine, but some fireworks could punctuate business-as-usual. #camdennj tapinto.net/towns/camden/sec…

My sweet Londyn as Rosa Parks for Halloween! Thanks @rochelleriley for the suggestion @NABJ to encourage our kids to represent historical Black figures. Kudos to Londyn and her mom who embraced the idea. They researched Rosa Parks and made it happen!

WHIPS?! Is it 1821 or 2021? Asylum is a human right, not a crime! These images of the U.S Border Patrol whipping/rounding up Haitian immigrants seeking asylum on horseback is nothing short of triggering and telling of the treatment of our people. This isn’t partisan it’s MORALITY.
