Somewhat bizarre that ITV News At Ten and GMB features relatives of our current Government's Secretaries of State both reporting on and interviewing them 🤷🏼♀️

🚨 UPDATE FROM GRAHAM LINEHAN
Last week, the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), the police watchdog, found that the Metropolitan Police’s handling of Graham’s complaint about his arrest at Heathrow was not reasonable or proportionate.
Last year, Graham was arrested by five armed police officers as he arrived at Heathrow from Arizona. His “crime”? Three gender-critical posts on X.
Gender-critical beliefs are lawful. They are protected under the Equality Act 2010 and were reaffirmed by last year’s landmark Supreme Court ruling.
With the support of the Free Speech Union, Graham sent the Met a pre-action letter arguing that his arrest was unlawful and breached his right to freedom of expression under Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights.
The Met issued a full and unreserved public apology and paid Graham £25,000 in compensation.
Graham also complained to the Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards about his arrest and detention in September 2025. The IOPC has now ordered the Met to reinvestigate, saying Graham may have been treated as he was because of his gender-critical views.
The Met’s decision to reopen the investigation is welcome news.
Graham has been relentlessly hounded by trans activists for his lawful views and advocacy for women’s rights. The police have acted on vexatious complaints from those seeking to silence him and others who hold gender-critical beliefs. This ideological capture must end.
The Free Speech Union is proud to support @Glinner.

It is impossible to argue that criticism of Islam and criticism of Christianity are treated equally by the authorities.
Christian street preachers are being arrested at an alarming rate across the country, often following vexatious complaints and the misapplication of the Public Order Act 1986.
Stephen Gray, an FSU member and former police officer of 27 years, was convicted of sending a “grossly offensive” communication under the Communications Act 2003 after reposting a joke about the Prophet Muhammad on Facebook.
The image showed a man wearing a turban alongside a rasher of bacon, with the caption: “Fun facts about bacon! People who eat bacon have a lower chance of marrying a nine-year-old!” It referred to the Prophet Muhammad’s marriage to a nine-year-old.
Two police officers went to Stephen’s home. He was left with a criminal record and a £1,100 fine.
As Stephen has said, if he had made a joke about the Catholic Church, the response would have been very different.
John Cleese has also been referred to Prevent over comments about Islam on social media. Prevent is the Government’s counter-terrorism programme. Would he have been referred for posting critical comments about Christianity? Obviously not.
Parliament abolished blasphemy laws in 2008. In a free society, no religion should receive greater protection than another, or be shielded from legitimate criticism, debate or challenge.
Does criticising Islam carry more legal risk than criticising Christianity?
Speaking at The Spectator's Free Speech debate, Lord Sumption insists that the law treats both equally, notwithstanding 'erratic cases' of policing he blames on poor training.

Our national debt has just hit £3 trillion.
We were told by the "grown ups" in both parties that putting up taxes, Net Zero and high immigration would bring the debt down.
This is the counterfactual of what I sought to do in the Mini-Budget.
And it has been a disaster.

Worth also noting to those who think the ITV journalists shouldn't be investigated.
The News of the World would still be in business, and hacking celebrity/politicians' phones had someone not stood up to them.

BREAKING:
French police have encountered rioters and looters armed with AK47s and Scorpion submachine guns on the streets of Paris, Marseille and Lyon.
The information comes from the Le Journal du Dimanche journalist Laura Tchekov, who says that her newspaper has received this information from sources within the DGSI, France’s main internal security agency.
The weapons were carried by minors and young adults described as being part of organized crime groups but sometimes also close to the Islamist movement in France.
The journalist says that not all armed
rioters were arrested and that several of them remain on free foot.
It’s believed that police officers refrained from making arrests as they thought they could be both outmanned and outgunned at the moment and that hundreds of people were on the streets, creating a risk of a shoot-out that could have resulted in a large number of wounded and dead.
So what will the Tories do about the biased BBC that they didn't do in 15 years of government? Asking them to explain 🙄
That'll definitely stop them 🤡
The BBC was set up to inform, educate and entertain - not brainwash our children.
I tried the game for myself to see if it really was as bad as this article indicates. It is.
The BBC need to explain why they are using taxpayer money to push a left-wing political agenda onto our children. Yet another impartiality failure.

I went on @BBCNewsnight and enraged all the usual radical-left loons stating these simple facts:
~1.85m foreign nationals claim £23 billion in welfare each year in Britain
~ 1.3m foreign nationals claim £11.9billion of Universal Credit
Britain must put the British people first
**Britains tax burden is the highest it’s been since the War (1948 to be exact)**
If you want to lift people up, you have to create wealth. You have to incentivise work. Which means tax them less.
Anyone who runs a business knows this.
Since then, far-left X has launched a series of ad-hominem attacks. Some even saying these ideas are “extreme far-right”
None of them have addressed the substance of my arguments.
Instead they are trying to shame me for being in one of the most successful bands of last 20 years, whilst ignoring that I have one of the biggest independent politics podcasts in Britain.
And ignoring that I’ve generated 10s of £millions in wealth and taxes for the economy, created 1000s of jobs, and built several successful companies.
Likewise they think that I might be anything but immensely proud to be associated with my own dad, one of the most successful businessmen and generous individuals this country has produced since the War, and his association with GB News, officially the most viewed and trusted news channel in the country.
He’s a hero.
