Great work!
Professor in @RITBME, Blanca Lapizco-Encinas received a @NSF grant for $348,000 to develop a new separation technique to be used in microfluidic devices. Her work will focus on determining if the process is analogous to techniques such as chromatography. bddy.me/36SIWok

Awesome! Congrats and thanks for the people story background.
Super excited to tell you about a new R21 helping attack Sepsis that we were just awarded. Science is awesome, but the people part is what is really fun. See the story below. Lucky to be part of the larger @RITtigers and @UofR community...

Saw a few ppl discouraging undergrads from applying to PhD programs if they were thinking about getting a job, but now worried about COVID economy. If you are a science or engineering UG - strongly disagree. Apply for a PhD if you want. A thread...

We are very excited to be part of this project
Replying to @TomGaborski
We hope to help explain and understand why 70% of sepsis patients suffer long-term cognitive impairment. I'm excited that the RIT team will include close colleagues @abhyankar_lab and @stevendayritbme helping to build and validate the chip platform.
