Obama was opposed to legalising gay marriage, but he wasn't openly advocating homophobia. He took steps to end discrimination; and gay marriage was legalised while he was President.
So that would make this complaint entirely baseless.

The arguments against equality were indistinguishable, as neatly summarised:
bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-2663…
Opposition to gay marriage came from much the same place as opposition to trans equality: conservatives, religious or otherwise.
Legality was won due to decades of campaigning for equality. It only happened in 2014 (UK) and 2015 (USA).

Weren't 'Sex Matters' being supported by Christian Legal Centre when Reindorf was acting on their behalf? Isn't CLC an evangelical Christian group?
If so, would that not make this attempt at seemingly bullying somebody misplaced?

This is a lie. Delete it or post your evidence. I am not playing nice with this.
I'm merely asking questions here, of course. I personally have no way of knowing how any funding sources might have operated, if at all, in this particular case:

Another 'LGB' organisation which condones homophobia. How odd.

Always impressed when somebody misunderstands an obvious joke, and then repeats its premise in a way which isn't funny.

British teenagers will be made to work 12 hours a day in shops and restaurants, while also attending school. Difficult to see a single flaw in that scheme.
Why not take it a step further and replace e.g. doctors and nurses with teenagers, as well?

Suggesting that it's sexist to disagree with the non-committal answer a notoriously corrupt politician gave is extremely convincing, and a sure sign of acting in good faith.
Trans people must be excluded from society so that minority groups, such as people who are trans, don't end up being excluded from society.
This is just commonsense, IMO.

No, Cameron, we’re not gonna do that. You actually have to concede this one issue in fucking Iowa. Sorry.
There is nothing in that video segment or the CBS report about Mossad, and you don't need to be promoting some antisemitic far-right account like 'the white rabbit' in the first place.

This is the report, and it concerns the UAE supposedly giving him $2 billion:

Claiming to stand against racism, while asking people to disavow a motion which opposes racism; and suggesting that a call to treat Palestinians like human beings is somehow akin to life under Stalin.
Very sensible, IMO.

These people are not really used to somebody winning an election fairly. That's why they can't understand it.

Brazil’s results tonight are a big endorsement for the idea that every country should have a second “are you you sure about that” election a couple weeks after the first one for the important stuff
A weird neo-Nazi account with a track-record of harassing trans people makes a very vague allegation against somebody who is trans, and some people are taking that seriously?

Bunlith (animation with PS1-style art) faces grooming accusations after show's HRT scene was revealed by creator Lilith Walther to be based off real anecdote involving a neighbor's child. Lilith also had Bluesky likes of gore and 9/11 porn.

I'm assuming this is the proper context:
xitter.cf/pissvortex/status/2114…
The real, actual accusation being made here that you are supposed to take seriously:
- The show’s premise — having a witch as a neighbor — was inspired by a real life anecdote of a neighbor’s child asking the creator if she was a witch
- The show includes a scene in which the main character’s adult neighbor is closeted and gets offered estrogen symbolically
KiwiFarms user “Wigger Nationalist” concludes that she must, therefore, be a pedophile grooming her real life neighbor’s child
Trans people are currently being persecuted by the US government. It seems more than reasonable that they would oppose that.
It should also serve as a broader warning to other marginalised groups how fragile civil rights are.

Shocked that Sally Rooney made the government misuse anti-terrorism laws, resulting in her books being effectively censored.
Good job we have the fearless fourth estate to challenge that.

Janice Turner in the Times, serves it cold to Sally Rooney.
"Rooney’s work brims with jaded ennui: achievement is empty, love problematic, sex just a serotonin blip before postcoital gloom. Beautiful World, Where Are You? whines the title of her third novel. I’ve met young Ukrainians under nightly Russian drone attack who find more laughter and joy in life than her privileged, Mogadoned nihilists.
The longing to feel something — anything — defines her characters and her own life. But now, at 35, Rooney has found meaning at last. The cause of Palestine is “to join in something greater than our selves, to participate in some small way in a struggle for human liberation”. Gaza is not about the suffering of a people but Rooney’s self-realisation."
thetimes.com/comment/columni…
If you are an acclaimed, voice-of-a-generation novelist there are infinite practical ways to deploy your fame and money to aid Gaza’s hungry, injured and displaced. But Rooney has chosen one that gives her the ultimate prize: pain-free public martyrdom.
