Nate Sheets has demonstrated his commitment to listen & address the concerns of Texas’ agricultural associations, one of whom is my long term client, and Mr. Sheets has also been eager to learn & understand the agricultural & medicinal interests of cannabis.
It’s because of this that @RLCofTX has strongly endorsed @natesheetsforTX for Texas’ Agriculture Commissioner.
Personally, I am fully convinced that he is exactly the man for this Office. He will bear his title with passion, kindness, and wisdom.
Vote Nate Sheets for Texas Agriculture Commissioner! @TravisCountyYRs @TravisGOP @ATXRLC @RLCHouston @DFWRLC @ElPasoRLC @Precinct203WCTX @AustinTXYRs @LogCabinAustin
A year and a half ago, Clayton Tucker and I entered this race from opposite sides of the political aisle, but with one thing in common: We both believed the current Ag Commissioner was corrupt and we needed to clean house at the TDA (see video for Clayton's own words).
Fast forward to today, and Clayton is standing shoulder to shoulder with Sid Miller, the very politician we both set out to replace, and embracing his so-called "legacy."
Think about that.
After more than a decade of scandals, ethics violations, questionable judgment, and a culture of political favoritism at the Department of Agriculture, Clayton Tucker has decided to make common cause with the man responsible for leading it.
This is the same Sid Miller whose longtime political consultant pleaded guilty to commercial bribery involving the sale of state hemp licenses, and whom Miller subsequently hired as his chief of staff.
The same Sid Miller who faced ethics penalties over his use of public funds and campaign accounting.
The same Sid Miller who hiked fees on farmers and ranchers, millions of dollars over what he claimed he needed money for.
The same Sid Miller who led the Texas school lunch program to 44TH IN THE NATION.
Texans deserve better than political alliances built around personal grudges and protecting the old guard.
Clayton can call this partnership whatever he wants. But Texans can see what's happening.
I didn't run against Sid Miller just to inherit his political machine. I ran to change the way the Department of Agriculture operates, restore integrity, and put Texas farmers, ranchers, and families first.
You don't change the status quo by joining it.
Texas voted for a new direction in March. I'm not backing down from delivering it. #txlege

I traveled to Lufkin ahead of early voting to encourage Texans to get out and vote.
Our liberty and our future is at stake. Texas cannot afford for you to stay home. Take your friends, family, and get to the polls.
Vote Huffines for Comptroller to keep Texas RED and free.

This morning, I voted.
I voted for lower taxes, a secure border, and to protect the Constitution of the United States.
I had the rare privilege of voting for myself, and I voted to keep Texas red.
I urge you to do the same 🇺🇸
Early Voting is open! Make a plan to get to the polls and reach out to other liberty lovers to encourage them to vote.

Great news! No spy cameras wanted in Texas! End all mass surveillance now.
Comptroller Huffines banned the use of state grant money to buy or contract for Flock cameras and automated license plate readers saying, “Government’s job is to protect your liberty, not take it. No spy cameras.”

The Texas Legislature should prohibit the deployment of the Texas National Guard to a foreign conflict unless Congress first formally declares war. #DefendtheGuard @TroopsHomeUS
Opinion: The real tragedy is that guard members are risking their lives because of presidential overreach. usatoday.com/story/opinion/2…
A government confident in the liberty of its citizens doesn’t fear their criticism.
This interview digs into why vague, subjective “decorum” rules chill speech and keep Texans from holding officials accountable.

💯 The First Amendment is the most important! @ATXRLC @TravisGOP
Texans shouldn’t have to wonder if speaking up will get them silenced or thrown out. RLCTX board member Liz Miller and others are challenging Tarrant County’s vague decorum rules because, “a government confident in the liberty of its citizens need not fear their criticism.”

Thanks to @realNickTran and everyone who came out to our Houston event!
Strong message from @realNickTran at our Houston RLC meetup. He is standing for freedom, responsible local leadership, and a community grounded in Texas values.
Several years ago, the Crescent Springs Fire Dept. acquired a piece of steel beam from the World Trade Center following the attacks of September 11, 2001. This beam forms the centerpiece of the 9/11 memorial, constructed of granite and in the shape of the Pentagon. #NeverForget
