RLCS Paris Major proved Rocket League belongs in France, but it could have finally extinguished North America
My first Esports Insider feature took a look at France's rise through RLCS history and NA's ongoing demographic woes.
- Kaydop -> MM -> Zen/Vatira
- NA pipeline suffers from the same issues it did three years ago
- RLCS Paris was the homecoming that France deserved

We spoke with Spacestation Gaming's @zach34___ after their win against MIBR at the Rocket League Paris Major:
"I enjoy it when the crowd's against me as much as when it's for me.
"I feel like it helps energise me and motivate me just as much as the crowd rooting for me."

KOI @CleanX on SMG partners:
"The way I view it, sometimes you just don’t work.
"And I think sometimes people just need to realise that. That’s how teams work sometimes. Sometimes you just work better with other people, and I mean that’s the way of Call of Duty."

Nine and a half years later, and my time with Psyonix and Epic has come to an end. ⚽🏎️
Thanks to those who have reached out already ❤️ Don't worry, I'll be ok. I'm going to enjoy some well-deserved downtime for now.

RLRecon is back in business 🎉
Hi, I’m Jack 👋 I’ve been running RLRecon for the better part of four years, but as GGRecon sadly closed, the account was put on pause.
Now, the account is back alive and I’m dedicated to bringing more RLCS content to your timelines again.
I’ve interviewed countless pros before and attended multiple LANs, and will hopefully be at Paris to kickstart the coverage!
New words and interviews can be found at @HotspawnEsports✍️ with a fresh article coming tomorrow featuring one of the top eight teams at Boston🐝

We are devastated to learn of the passing of Millie 'Duckz' Ward yesterday.
Everyone at Resolve is deeply upset by this news. Our thoughts and prayers are with Millie's family and friends at what will be an incredibly difficult time.
Rest in peace Duckz ❤️

Alongside many other things for 2025, we NEED to bring back region locking, one way or another.
No way we can allow undeserving morons like this to continue taking Major spots off 'minor' regions. They wouldn't be top 20 in EU, it's criminal that they get international chances.

I hate to keep banging the same drum, but this season is simply too short.
We’ve been robbed of so many storylines for these rosters that are teetering on the edge of success. Shame for so many new teams that didn’t quite get the chance to put practice to the pitch

"I'm a little bit harsh on myself when I say my career will be a failure unless I win worlds.
I think that is the mindset of the upper echelon of players who have been there, and I do believe that I can be there myself"
