Vlast started as a company of 20-50 ppl managing a virtual group simply because they wanted to be able to develop their tech. Those investments u talk so much like an idiot did not happen until 2024, when Plv already had their 1st win on a music show and were making their way trying to establish themselves on the industry as artists. And let me teach u something, uneducated bitch: Hybe and YG bought minority shares of the company’s STOCK, NOT the company itself. If u use those little fingers to type in google instead of typing bullshit in twitter, u would know that Vlast is, to this day, and independent company- and have Hybe and YG’s investments strictly as strategic partnerships.
Now let me teach u something even better: go and fucking look in Melon charts, the korean platform that MOST awards are based off. Ateez indeed did amazing this year GLOBALLY, but Bad peaked numer 8 in the Melon Top 100 (Ateez’s FIRST TIME being on the Top 10 in Melon). The song did amazing globally, but his peak was in the Top 8 on the KOREAN charts. Plave, on the other hand, CONSISTENTLY charts in Melon, and their peak is being -on this album ONLY- Top 1 on the Melon Top 100, which followed all the way until Top 5 with all the other songs from their latest album. This only this comeback
So next time u want to have your mouth full of shit when you speak, LEARN how korean charts work and LOOK how you idol is charting vs the rest of the groups.
Finally, let me tell you this: YOUR problem is with the big companies, which ALL OF US hate. Ateez’s company has Sony as a backup. Vlast had NONE until 2024, the way Vlast uses YG is as MUSIC DISTRIBUTORS, because that’s how fucked up the industry is: u need a big backup (like Sony) or a way for you to somewhat cooperate with the big companies that basically own the album distributions and/or overseas activities. Vlast made their way like that, which has nothing to do with ur group losing an award. If u have so much free time that u can start fandom wars because u are butthurt then i recommend u trying to stream the albums of ur group next time and shut the fuck up. Prove the rest that ur idols charts even domestically and stop harassing other groups because u are being a lil bitch about an award.
