#RadioStatic Thought: In “Don’t You Forget,” when Alastor is singing, he lists everything he’s had to do for Rosie and then says that as a result his name “inspires... much less fear.” I find that wording really interesting because the sentence itself sounds slightly unusual.+

“Inspires fear” isn’t wrong, but it’s much less direct than something like “causes fear,” “instills fear,” or “strikes fear.” Those would sound much more threatening and much more like something Alastor would normally say.+

it sounds like he was originally going to say something else and changed the sentence halfway through. It feels hesitant in a way the rest of his monologue doesn’t. (Delulu - in fact he only said it like that bcs he wanted to lessen impact that nobody fears him at all anymore)

Since it'll be A WHILE till we get more #RadioStatic content in s3. (Hopefully summer next year) And also bcs I can't just keep rewatching the same 16 episodes. I have some movie/series recommendations to pass the time. The dynamics in these movies/series remind me a lot of RS+

But not exactly bcs RS is unique. Movies: The Greenbook The Prestige Kill your Darlings Series: Hannibal (ofc) Gotham (Penguin/Riddler give crazy RS friends to enemies vibes)

People gonna be talking about sum angst and family in s3 while I won't be able to choose whether to be distracted by Lilith and her presence or by Vox being a drunken unstable mess in his loser arc

Agree. I've never really seen Alastor as a feminist because, to me, he always seemed more like someone who doesn't take women seriously enough to see them as a threat or worth confronting directly.

Vox being canonically more of a feminist than Alastor is kinda funny actually

The best part about Alastor is that even though he has an incredibly strong ego, he has virtually no masculine pride. If anyone told him to his face "you look like a girl," he'd just take it as a compliment and say "thank you!"

#Vaggie not “remembering” that angelic weapons can hurt angels actually makes sense and it says a lot about what separates Heaven from Hell. Heaven’s biggest flaw isn’t just hypocrisy. It’s complacency. Most angels don’t question things. They follow the system because+

She was raised in a system where questioning wasn’t necessary. She followed orders, then followed her heart, but she didn’t really make her own assumptions.+

So the angelic weapon reveal isn’t just a plot convenience. It reflects Heaven’s real problem: they’re so used to being “right” that they stopped thinking. And Lilith is on with teaching them a lesson on that. Or it's a trauma reaction and that's why she doesn't remember.

I’ll be honest with you guys: I don’t really care how HH evolves. I’ll enjoy it either way. Be it Lilith turning out to be evil, be it Alastor being a circus, be it Charlie and Vaggie getting no further development, be it there being no more RS content, be it any ship imaginable

disgusted by him. And the way Viv says that there are people who are Valentino fans. Like what do you like about him? The fact that his character revolves around rape or his ugly ass character design+y

You have to believe me I really tried to enjoy him as a character I did lots of animatics with him, but it's impossible. I swear if SM is endgame I have to lose all of my Vox merch and I only have Vox merch😭 I'll trade RS content for it pls
