So, reading this and then watching what she actually said, I've come to a conclusion. Twitch/Streaming in general is the new mental asylum, and we (unfortunately) see it all happen.
hi everyone, i want to clarify some things about what i said on stream yesterday. 1) when he was first caught looking at paywalled, deepfake content of female streamers, it seems people forgot that the specific page shown on his stream was of me. i didn't say much at the time because i was so uncomfortable, publicly humiliated, and i didn't think it needed explaining because it was so obviously wrong. 2) i appreciate that he spent thousands of dollars helping remove ai/df content (3000$ of which was offered to me specifically), but i've had to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars towards that same effort. regardless, no amount of money undoes what happened. 3) i'm not trying to cancel anyone or be the arbiter of who can do what. i'm simply sharing my feelings about something that publicly happened to me, and the ways in which it's affecting me today. as he's become more involved in events and with people close to me, i've grown particularly uncomfortable. as far as i know, no one has really checked in with the women affected about how it makes them feel. other people forgiving him is their choice, but it doesn't mean i can't share my perspective on it as well. one thing i've seen happen far too often is the rewriting of history, particularly as it pertains to issues like these, so i prefer to stand my ground so the narrative doesn't get twisted. hope this clarifies things!

At first glance, this looks fine, but aside from the Elephant-sized AI in the room, this won't work as well as they think. They need to face the reality that Steam is foundational when it comes to PC Players, and no one is gonna switch cause of some rudimentary launcher changes.
NEW EPIC GAMES LAUNCHER REVEAL (Preview expected very soon) SPEED (vs Steam): • Startup → 5.47s vs 10.07s (1.8x faster) • Library Load → 0.36s vs 0.42s (1.2x faster) • Opens the Store 3x faster • Switches tabs almost instantly LAYOUT & SOCIAL: • One simple frame for Store, Library & Develop • Your recent games are one click away from anywhere • Start parties & chat with friends right in the launcher • Customize your top bar with your favorite games & apps, or pick a ready-made layout LIBRARY (30x FASTER): • New Details view: your games on the left, the selected game's page on the right • Improved Grid view: tiles show game art & status, and open the game's page over the grid • Search as you type • Group games into visual collections • Hide games you don't play, and bring them back anytime • Sort & filter by platform, genre & more GAME PAGES & DOWNLOADS: • Every game gets its own page with status, play controls & add-ons • Activity feed shows playtime, updates & installs since you last played • Live download, read & write speeds while a game installs • Active, queued, scheduled & failed downloads all in one place, with progress for each • Update status shows on game pages & in your downloads PLATFORMS: • Windows 10/11, macOS 12+ & Linux (runs natively) • Mac is Apple Silicon only, no Intel Macs • Linux: Ubuntu 22.04+, Fedora 43+ & Debian 12+ • Many games are Windows-only, so they may need a compatibility layer on Linux • Same hardware as the old launcher (4GB RAM) • Storage → 700MB Windows, 200MB Mac & 2GB Linux • Offline mode for eligible installed games MORE INFO: • The Preview is open to everyone, a stable release comes later • Installing it automatically uninstalls the old launcher • Your purchases, installed games, cloud saves & progress carry over • Epic recommends sticking with the old launcher for Fortnite & Rocket League for now, full Fortnite support is still being finalized • Some social features & account management options aren't in it yet

It comes down to this. Steam can always survive without ever having Fortnite in its store. But for Epic, if Fortnite stopped being Epic-exclusive tonight, they would instantly fall into the pits of hell. Epic Games is extremely fragile, and Tim Sweeney's ego will break it.

I don't want to be seen as mindlessly critical of Vivienne, but at a certain point, someone else at Spindlehorse needs to take the writer's pen away from her. This is CW Riverdale-level melodrama. She's good at direction, but for the love of God, give the story to someone else.
SPOILER ALERT for S3 of Helluva Boss - - - - - - - - - Stolas really about to experience 1% of the hatred people had for Charlie in season 2 of Hazbin. Stolas fans need to brace themselves this week 😭 Now if you excuse imma go hug Blitz he needs it. #HelluvaBoss‌

(Espresso |● release): Losing weight is anything but easy; most of the time, it's because of a lack of will, but very rarely, there's an external factor stopping you... (Each 10 RTS = Read for fr*e!)

Giving them the benefit of the doubt, my main guess is that the reason it’s a different type of fantasy world is cause Narnia’s passage of time is extremely fast. That being said, looks fun but probably not gonna fight to watch it.
The first trailer for Greta Gerwig's ‘NARNIA’ has been released. In theaters on February 12, 2027.

One of the most nihilistic movies I’ve seen, and a must watch for anyone thats not afraid to look at a Black Mirror.
#nw Digger. Heard a lot about it but know very little. Here we go.

Totally unrelated, but if you watched Digger, I would recommend Asteroid City.

Aside from the obvious bait, just a friendly reminder that the only reason Chimptopia got funded is cause a bunch of mysterious whales came in and bought the most expensive reward options at the last week to make it succeed. 10 people covered 75% of the budget.
I think it's funny how chimptopias had way more staying power than gameoverse (We all know what's the better show)

1. If you were expecting a 1-to-1 adaptation from Flanagan of all people, you’re deluded. 2. I feel like these are the same criticisms towards the other film adaptations, and the ‘76 Carrie is a classic. Saying a film/show needs to directly mimic the source material is hokum.
Mike Flanagan’s ‘CARRIE’ series misunderstands Stephen King’s novel, as it presents Carrie White as a non-vengeful, pure-hearted person who rarely does anything wrong. Find out more in our review... discussingfilm.net/2026/10/0…

People seem to forget that Reality TV like Traitors or Survivor are lightning rods for very evil and/or manipulative people to thrive. Whatever happened is probably the side effects from this kind of show, in his case, maybe paranoia/getting gaslit got to him.
Filming for The Celebrity Traitors was paused after comedian James Acaster became visibly anxious during an intense scene at Ardross Castle. According to reports, fellow contestants raised concerns with producers, prompting production to stop filming so the crew could check on his welfare. A spokesperson for the show said the safety and welfare of participants is the highest priority and that players are closely monitored and supported by a dedicated welfare team. #JamesAcaster #CelebrityTraitors #BBC

Also, Traitors is just a very rough game for normal people and generally sucks. It’s like playing Blood on the Clocktower but it lasts actual weeks rather than in short rounds, and you can’t reliably gather info on who is a traitor like you can in a real social deduction game.

I've been a fan of Birdman's stuff when it comes to him going against grifters, but it's rough to see him get into the same pitfalls that his Ops usually fall into. Even before the movie came out, he formed the opinion that it wasn't RE enough, and he's still spouting it...
Resident Evil is the only franchise where non-fans think they can tell Day Ones they don't deserve a proper adaptation of the source material. Imagine a Tomb Raider movie with some guy named Trevor fighting vampires in Detroit then being told "it adapts the gameplay properly"

For context before you comment, since this got eyes on it, I do semi-agree with Bird's take. It felt like it was a movie INSPIRED by RE before Sony and Capcom decided to make it a full-blown Resident Evil movie. What I was commenting on was the doubling down in his reaction here.

Also, I'm not calling him a grifter at all, just commenting on a pattern that people tend to have online when it comes to media like this.

... even though the majority of people who saw it- normies and RE fans alike- like the movie and think it's a good representation of the games. It feels like this is his version of Grifters going against The Odyssey or the recent Predator movies.

Hell, looking back at his channel, it seems like he deleted his first RE Movie video when he was complaining about the trailer for 15-20 minutes. I'm glad he relented and said the movie is great, but he needs to admit that he can be wrong about his initial criticisms.
