AG's office is not still investigating anything about this incident.
The file is sitting on someone's desk.
When the report comes out, every fact listed in it will have been known for many months.
It will show that Officer Amatore is a hero, and this process is ridiculous.
The Office of the Attorney General is still "investigating the facts" surrounding an officer-involved shooting on Chili Avenue.
RPD Officer Nicole Amatore, who was named Officer of the Year 2026, remains on administrative leave.

We have an idea, just hear us out.
It will save the City ~ $2.6m per year, and will not impact services to the community.
You can use that money to help pay for essential services and other obligations that you are currently not fulfilling.
Just a thought, think it over.

The Office of the NYS Attorney General hasn't gotten around to clearing Officer Amatore yet. But hey, it's only been 277 days.
Officer Amatore is a hero.
This started as Trespassing and Annoyances.
It escalated to fights, mayhem, and murder.
By the way, the City is trying to implement the Action team, which are non-law enforcement City employees who would respond to 911 calls for trespassing and annoyance instead of police.
The details released about this murder are absolutely horrific.
The investigation by our members exemplifies their dedication, skill, and professionalism.

A few months ago they bragged that crime is down.
Then, because of crime, they 'banned' gatherings 10 people.
Friday night: multiple people shot, 1 dead (14 year old girl).
Saturday night: multiple people shot, 1 dead.
This is disgusting. NYS laws, local policies are failing
The conditions for people of Rochester are unreasonable.
People don't have the ability to come and go freely, to be outside, to enjoy peace and quiet, or to enjoy safety.
Hire more police, support & empower those police, and improve the living conditions in Rochester.
Today is the 4 year anniversary since Maz was killed.
Maz was a good cop, a union man, and above all, a family man.
His friends and family miss him every day. We ask the community to think about and pray for them today.

The Locust Club extends our thoughts and prayers to JJ's family, friends, and coworkers.
We were lucky to have worked closely with JJ on a few labor issues.
IAFF, RFD, and the entire City owe gratitude to JJ for his service.
He was a good firefighter and a good man.
Saturday, officers were mandated to work at the fireworks. 7 shot & 1 stabbed.
Monday, City had a press conference about that violence.
Today, City tweeted this.
Also today, City told officers that dozens will be mandated to work at the annual civil disorder event next month.
"I am thankful the RPD was prepared with staffing..."
At least 12 officers who worked last night were mandated to.
Mandated on a holiday, for a Special Event no less, because we are understaffed by 125+ officers.
It's time for the City to take the staffing crisis seriously.
Since long before anyone knew of Denny Wright as the officer who was blinded, many people in Clinton Section have known Denny for the good man he is. This is one moment in time, one of the thousands of moments when Denny made the world a slightly better place.
Enjoy retirement.
Officer Denny Wright officially retired this week. The accompanying photo captures a moment from 2016, when he graciously helped secure a new bicycle for GSL News. Beyond his community outreach, Officer Wright demonstrated immense bravery when he was stabbed in the line of duty in 2019. We express our deepest gratitude for his 30 years of dedicated service, leadership, and exceptional guidance within the City of Rochester community. Your career is held in the highest regard, and you have our utmost respect.
An RPD officer attempted to make an arrest.
The person resisted arrest, resulting in a physical confrontation.
The officer used trained tactics to effect the arrest.
It was a poor choice to resist arrest. We support the actions of our officer.
