Around 150,000 home owners with adjustable-rate mortgages (ARMs) are scheduled to face their first interest rate adjustment this year, according to ICE Mortgage Technology.
Another 186,000 borrowers are scheduled for their first ARM rate reset in 2027, followed by 155,000 in 2028 - with nearly half a million American homeowners on the hook for an expensive financial reckoning over the next three years.
