And here lies the problem with fans in the PL. Nothing to do with Fleetwood being better, finding a way to win, and rattling players earning more a week than those L2 players earn a year. It wasn’t a poor day for you, it was abysmal. But for Fleetwood, it was everything.
This is what happens when you play bad (really bad) and the referee's dodgy and there's no VAR. Can't use that to deflect from the fact that we didn't deserve anything from the game. But the decisions. Absolutely terrible from the officials. Poor day for us. Poor performance, poor refereeing, and ill-tempered opponent that got protected from the get go.

Not allowed to tackle Dowman because he’s 16 years old… HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! The most pathetic fanbase in all of sport!
The fact that people can’t put differences to one side &1 accept this is NOT acceptable behaviour 90mins towards a 16 year old kid in sport, shows what the world is bout in this game Sadly,he will be the next Jack Wilshere & people Won’t care as it’s “fuck arsenal” no matter what

Where do I begin? That was an evening I'll never forget. It’s an incredible honour to receive the Ballon d’Or award after a year full of goals, trophies and special milestones. Thank you to all the staff and my teammates at @england and @fcbayern, as well as family, friends and everyone who’s supported me – this wouldn’t be possible without you all. Thank you to everyone who has sent a kind message, social media post - I appreciate every single one of them. This will live long in the memory. 🙌🏆❤️

Absolutely delighed for Harry Kane, mainly because his form has become normalised way too easily. A freak season of 73 goals, only beaten once in history in the top five leagues. That was Messi and he is an alien.

61 - Harry Kane scored 61 goals in all competitions in the 2025-26 season, 19 more than any other player in Europe’s big-five leagues. It was the most by a player in a season since Cristiano Ronaldo scored 61 for Real Madrid in 2014-15. Rewarded.
