From the latest scouting report on Mets No. 2 prospect Mitch Voit ⤵️
Voit’s system-best 27% line-drive rate, sub-20% strikeout rate and well-balanced batting profile spell out his offensive upside. He projects to be a top-of-the-order, on-base-oriented middle infielder, most likely at second base.
Voit could be ready for a big league look later in the 2027 season if he continues producing in the minor leagues.

Mitch Voit was by far the Mets best hitter out of their system in August. He’s done nothing but hit since his promotion, slashing .400/.489/.600 in his last 89 PA.
Whiff control looked great in that time, while the QoC was just as good with a 36.2% LD%.
