Ready to host @WNYC’s @NPR’s Morning Edition from my “studio” one bedroom Manhattan apartment. In the lease I required a rider for an Art Deco on air light and vintage mic flags.

And here’s where @RScottHake normally sits. Feels kind of sad that he’s not here in person but I’ll cheer up when he sends me a picture of him doing the broadcast in his own pajamas. – at Manhattan, NY

WNYC's @MorningEdition is broadcasting from home this morning 📻🏠Thanks for making it happen Juliana, @RScottHake, @alecchamilton and the whole team!
This woman, our engineer Juliana, is the spoke in @wnyc’s Morning Edition wheel. She’s communicating with host @RScottHake and producer @alecchamilton and knitting the whole remote broadcast together.🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Many restaurants in SoHo and west village already closed, not offering delivery.

Everybody should go home and listen to @WNYC. Listen to @RScottHake @BrianLehrer @alisonstewart @TheTakeaway @jamifloyd and the whole bunch of them.
Starting Tuesday: all restaurants and bars will be takeout only; movie theaters, other venues shut down

.⁦@realDonaldTrump⁩ is on trial, but so too are our democratic values. I was honored to join ⁦@RScottHake⁩ and ⁦@WNYC⁩ this morning to discuss what it’s like working for ⁦@SenBooker⁩ at this historically significant moment. wnyc.org/story/adviser-sen-c…

Allow me to introduce @michelekelemen, a deeply experienced foreign correspondent and @NPR diplomatic correspondent. She’s one of the best colleagues I’ve ever worked with. She’s thoughtful, honest, gracious and tough. Also, just got banned from Sec. Pompeo’s plane.
Just in from the State Department Correspondents' Association: The group "protests the decision to remove NPR correspondent Michele Kelemen from Secretary Pompeo's plane on his upcoming trip to Europe and Central Asia." Kelemen "was in rotation as the radio pool reporter."

Because of the truth.
Why does NPR still exist?  We have thousands of radio stations in the U.S.  Plus Satellite radio. Podcasts.  Why are we paying for this big-government, Democrat Party propaganda operation.  foxnews.com/politics/pompeo-…

Thanks @gabrielsherman. No one is trying to be “soothing.” We just talk...in our actual voices. I have a lot of feelings about a whole lot of things that go on our air and if my voice reflected them all, especially as a woman frankly, the Twitterverse would unleash its wrath.
There’s something super disconcerting hearing NPR anchors talk about Trump in that soothing NPR voice. Normalizes Trump in a way that he shouldn’t be.
