I stopped posting about 9 months ago when 2 men from the NY Post showed up at my house, filming my daughter and me, because I had the audacity to tweet that she shouldn't have to keep playing boys in a girls bball league. They put an unemployed homeschool mom of 3 as the sole cover of the NY Post for something that is so elementary, fundamental and obvious that it feels absolutely insane that we are still discussing this. Stop with the "it's only a few" argument... since when is that a reason to not care about injustice and the truth?
The WNBA should be courageous. Stand for women. You can't stand for something you can't even define. Acknowledge that the inherent differences between men and women were the whole reason we needed the WNBA in the first place. Boundaries, clarity and exclusion are not hateful in sport... they're the prerequisite to playing and loving the game. Without the lines, without the rules, without the honesty about who's in and who's out, there is no fair competition.
A WNBA task force of team presidents and general managers met Wednesday and discussed transgender athletes but did not arrive at any eligibility rules, according to a statement sent to ESPN by a league spokesperson.

Notre Dame Was Ranked 11th last season when Texas A&M faced them . Texas Tech coincidentally is also ranked 11th in this years poll . They’ll sit there and tell you straight in the eye that the two numbers are different and there’s nothing to gain from playing Texas Tech .

Texas A&M is scared of playing Texas Tech at a neutral site -- thats not even debatable based on them turning down a game that both schools need. And it's understandable because TT would likely win that game.
And no, it makes no sense to think TT should have to play at A&M's home stadium without a return -- A&M is not some elite program. It wouldn't make sense if Texas or Alabama demanded the same thing, and A&M is a long way from being a Texas or Alabama.
If the SEC is going to complain to the CFP Committee that BYU and TT's schedules are too easy then refuse to play them, SOS needs to be completely removed from the @CFBPlayoff selection criteria for P4 conferences.
If SOS is going to be part of the equation, there needs to be an independent third party that handles OOC P4 scheduling so that a conferences can't collude like we're obviously seeing happen. With this latest Tx A&M issue there is more than enough evidence.

There are 13 FBS schools in Texas,6 P4 and 7 G6. There is no reason the Texas schools shouldn’t play Texas schools for 2/3 of their OOC schedule. You’d play each school at least twice every decade(more if they’re in conference).It’s clean,simple,and keeps regional rivalries alive.
