Power of Niservimab now clear & JCVI support so Q’s are:
1) When will immunisation programme begin?
2) And how dramatic will impact be?
Our BronchSTART study (academic.oup.com/jid/advance…) showed burden of non-RSV disease but note Niservimab also ⬇️ all cause resp disease as well!

…in our view, both “sepsis screen” and “sepsis screening” are inaccurate and unhelpful terms.
Neither are, and never could be, a test for “sepsis.”
Paediatric sepsis is inherently difficult to define

Risk of an asthma attack increases with increasing reliever inhaler use across childhood & adolescence. Reliever inhaler prescriptions are an important marker of future risk. >=3 inhalers a year should trigger an asthma review.

The Health Secretary knows just how strong NHS nurses are together so he’s threatening them with legal action to prevent them fighting against real terms pay cuts.
Please RT if this has only strengthened your support for nurses.

Junior doctor strike: Union's pay demands 'unrealistic', says Steve Barclay - BBC News. I note MP pay up over 30% & >£20k since 2008. Reality: this is a political choice to not pay for doctors. @SteveBarclay blocking talks, not @TheBMA. bbc.co.uk/news/health-652236…
Dr Sally Edwards retweeted
MP salaries have risen by £20,000 since 2011
We are asking for full pay restoration for almost the same period of time.
So @SteveBarclay can you explain why all MPs are worth a £20k pay increase but junior doctors are not?
📢 @DHSCgovuk responds to @BMA_JuniorDocs saying 35% pay rise ask is unreasonable - Negotiations will only happen if BMA is "prepared to move significantly from this ask" and if it suspends strikes and agrees to talks in private. #JuniorDoctorsStrike
