Interesting article on why companies would hire Fractional positions.
I'm hearing that it's not just Fractional CTO work that's on the rise. Fractional CFOs are also increasingly in demand.

Every entrepreneur needs a Power Team consisting of;
1) Attorney- practical & efficient
2) Finance - fractional CFO type
3) Advisers - experienced leaders & investors
4) Complimentary executives - who posses the skills you lack or need in abundance- deal person, etc.
Great article outlining how a fractional CFO can provide startups with the benefits of a finance leader without having to pay a large salary

I'm a founder at a startup. Here's my daily routine 🧵
7am: I take out my retainer. My dentist says I grind my teeth at night but he doesn't get that the grind never stops
8am: I text my mom "gm wagmi". She responds telling me I'm almost 30 and should figure my life out.
I was in the PE/IB whirlwind for over 8 years and finally opted out a few months ago to start my own company providing CFO services to startups. Only took me three years of contemplating to finally pull the plug...excited to share the journey!
Many startups make operational & strategic mistakes because they lack financial expertise and capabilities. As they raise funding and look to grow, a fractional CFO is a low cost way for startups to obtain necessary finance resources. wsj.com/articles/demand-for-…
