Over the last two years, Senate Republicans have put up a strong record of accomplishment that’s created safer streets, more money in Americans’ pockets, and new opportunities for families and businesses to get ahead. After fighting Democrat obstruction at every turn, we prevented the largest tax hike in American history, secured our border in an unprecedented way, confirmed the president’s Cabinet at the fastest pace in two decades, and put strong conservative judges on benches across the country faster than we have since the Reagan administration. I’m proud of our team and everything we’ve done for the American people, and I’m looking forward to the important work we have in front of us over the next few months. As we head into 2027, Senate Republicans will not stand idly by as the far-left, socialist wing of the Democrat Party attempts to unwind everything we’ve done. Thankfully, we still have President Trump in the White House, and we’ll work with him to stop the worst impulses of Democrat extremism. We cannot let their fringe positions become the mainstream.

Thune's messaging on Dems and the bills they're expected to block on data centers/stock trading tomorrow: "I think what you're seeing is that this is the party of no. The party that can't take yes for an answer, and is interested in just trying to politicize everything going into the election."

Jon Kyl loved his state of Arizona and was a true legislator’s legislator. He was an incredibly hard worker and honorably returned to service when his state called. He was a dear friend and will be missed. Kimberley’s and my prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

SCOOP: A nonpartisan federal watchdog on Tuesday revealed that Obamacare subsidizes abortions, upending a longtime Dem talking point, @realDailyWire can first report.

I’m glad that congressional Republicans not only prioritized removing the threat of another dangerous government shutdown, but we did our job weeks before the deadline and with bipartisan support. While funding the government is one of our most basic responsibilities, my hope is that this effort proves that government shutdowns serve no one, and we should quickly complete our work on the fiscal year 2027 appropriations process.

.@LeaderJohnThune announces Clarity will be on the floor in September:
“The Dems are insistent on no Clarity vote... I worked with sponsors of the bill. @SenLummis was great, and we’re getting that queued up first thing when we come back.”

No one is served by another shutdown – not either political party, and most of all, not the people we represent.
I appreciate Chair @SenatorCollins' work to engage with Democrats and produce a bipartisan CR, and I look forward to bringing it up on the Senate floor in the coming days.

Honored to be able to welcome Darline Graham to the U.S. Senate today.
I know she will carry on Lindsey’s tireless service for South Carolina, and I look forward to serving with her.

I applaud Governor McMaster’s decision to appoint Darline Graham Nordone to replace her brother and our friend, Lindsey Graham, in the U.S. Senate. Lindsey’s legacy will continue through Darline, and I look forward to welcoming her soon.

Honored to have welcomed @POTUS back to Mount Rushmore for an incredible tribute to America last night. Today, on Independence Day, we celebrate what our founding fathers started 250 years ago. I’m thankful for all those who have fought for our freedom since then, and I am excited for the future of this great nation.🇺🇸

As we celebrate the one-year anniversary of @POTUS signing the Working Families Tax Cuts Act into law, it’s great to hear how it is benefiting Oklahoma families and businesses. Over the past year, my full expensing provision has helped the good folks at B&H Construction in Norman and other businesses across Oklahoma grow and invest in new equipment.

In one of the zanier parts of this online-to-real life saga of blaming Thune for the SAVE America Act not having a chance in the Senate, the SD GOP just killed a censure resolution against him.

Yesterday, we wrapped up the week with @LeaderJohnThune visiting with the men and women at the ICE facility in Rapid City, South Dakota.
Day in and day out, these individuals track down illegal alien criminals, narco traffickers, sexual predators, and remove them from our streets.
Thank you for your service and for protecting our Homeland.

Yesterday, @SecMullinDHS and @LeaderJohnThune met with some of our best of the best @ICEgov officers in Rapid City to discuss the heinous criminals they have removed from our communities.
Under the leadership of @POTUS Trump, we will continue our work to Make America Safe Again and support the heroic agents protecting our homeland.

News: Sen. Collins tells Semafor Schumer “must be misinformed" after Schumer said today Collins has “refused” to sit down with Murray to negotiate a spending number for the fall
Collins says she met with Murray in May and has made three "good-faith offers" and says "Democrats are abandoning the Appropriations process"
“Minority Leader Schumer’s comments show that this was a top-down decision. After a year with three shutdowns, Democrat leaders seem to have concluded that they would rather continue to hold essential government programs hostage, rather than engage with us to govern"

Thune says he spoke to McConnell. Said he “wants to be back, but I’ll defer to his staff on when.”
Thune says McConnell is “clearly dialed into what's going on. He's following the stuff we’re doing this week up here. Very much so.”

Because of Democrats’ historic temper tantrum, we will be funding Border Patrol and ICE for the full remainder of President Trump’s term.
We are going to pass the Secure America Act, and with it, we are going to end this conversation about defunding the police.

Technical adjustments are a standard part of the budget reconciliation process. Revisions and conversations with the parliamentarian are ongoing to ensure the text is fully Byrd compliant.
The facts remain unchanged: Senate Republicans are working to invest in federal law enforcement and safeguard Americans, while Democrats are fighting to defund the police, oppose fraud enforcement and reopen the border.
