1/2 If you blinked you missed it but the two fragments from #MindfulMiniatures played just now on @BBCRadio3 #NewMusicShow were voice by @Katsilerou_Zo in response to text sent in from Di (Response 12) & viola played by @stephe_09 in response to an image from @RachelGraff (CODA)

This week on our patreon we have an INCREDIBLY exciting post! The wonderful @RachelGraff recorded her process behind the theme tune for the Legacy of Heroism! Come listen to her talk about music, be amazed!

Our 4th complete #MindfulMiniature is now live! @RachelGraff completed June’s #TuneYourSenses guided walk with @stresilian, made a beautiful image, sent that to us and our Caroline Pether created a new piece of music in response. True #collaboration 😊 vonnegutcollective.co.uk/pro…
Thank you for commissioning me again you lovely people ❤️ this was so much fun to compose and I'm excited to hear how it sounds in the episode!
Don't forget to check out @RachelGraff's bandcamp where you can download the new music for our Legacy of Heroism arc!

New post up on my blog about some of the collaborations I've been part of during lockdown. I'm so grateful for the technology that allows us to do this. It might not be the same as being physically together, but at least it's something!

Here's a clip from the first 'Virtual Creation' with @ChristineLyndaA. Virtual Creations is a project exploring how we can improvise together while we are physically apart. You can hear the whole piece on our webpage - rachelgraff.com/graff-and-ad…
I had plans for a couple of small, intimate improvisation concerts with Christine Adams during the spring and summer. Instead, we've been experimenting with some 'Virtual Creations'. You'll be able to hear the first one soon! #composer #musician #improvisation #NewMusic
Jojo's having a lie-in this morning 😴 I'm going to try and force myself to do some composing...let's see if it works!

I've never been grateful to my past self for procrastinating before, but I just spent a few hours sorting through paperwork from the last few months and it was great to do something so mindless. Thanks, lazy past self!
I wrote a little blog post about how I'm not feeling very creative right now. Gonna try and do something today though.... 🎶

Jojo says 'Good morning!'
He was very annoying last night but I wasn't sleeping anyway so 🤷♂️ I'm enjoying seeing all the cute fur babies, it's really cheering me up

Musicians!
While we're all in lockdown, what do you say we create a remote orchestra of experimental composers/producers/improvisers and make a track together? I have an idea of how it would work; just gauging if there's enough interest out there. RT if you're up for it...
Money is uncertain at the moment (as it is for everyone), so any album purchases would be appreciated!
Today @Bandcamp is giving all revenue made by its artists to its artists! Our dear friend of the show @RachelGraff 's music is up, including all the tracks written for #TheMortalPath! Go grab some sick beats and help out an artist in these trying times!

Academic peeps: I've lived through many disasters. Here is my advice on "productivity". First, play the long game. Your peers who are trying to work as normal right now are going to burn out fast. They're doomed. Make a plan with a longer vision. /1
