The war in Gaza is not in the top 10 deadliest conflicts of this century.
It has no major economic impact, no critical resources, and no trade routes.
The world is obsessed with it for one reason: it involves Jews.

Russell Brand witness testimonies remind me of what Neil Gaiman wrote about the character of the wolf in red riding hood journal.neilgaiman.com/2004/… - "without him, she'd be just another girl..he's dangerously honest about what he wants"
"We're not here to discuss my morality. We're here to discuss criminality. I thought I was going to have penetrative vaginal sex."
Witness describes agreeing to consensual vaginal sex but not the alleged anal rape that left her bleeding.

One of the most absurd (not to mention offensive) comparisons I’ve seen in a very long time. Salman Rushdie was the victim of an Islamist fatwa; Sally Rooney refuses to stop using her royalties to fund a proscribed terror group.
If you ever sought out the novels of Sally Rooney in bookshops – when that was still possible – you’d know they sit in the fiction stacks adjacent to the novels of another SR whose books have been withdrawn in dastardly political circumstances. Until last week, “Rooney” and “Rushdie” had little in common beyond being shelfmates; now they have more than just a physical proximity.

Four brothers went to war against Hitler. Three died. The fourth survived, and his grandson, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, is the president of Ukraine.
Zelenskyy comes from a family that fought tyrants: Trump negotiates with them while demanding concessions from their victims.

This comparison is as offensive as it is stupid. Rushdie had to spend years hiding from Islamists who wanted him murdered just for what he wrote, and bookshops faced violent attack if they stocked it.
Rooney’s publisher has stopped supplying her novels purely and simply because she insists on directing royalties to an illegal organisation.
There is a grotesque irony in invoking a man hunted by Islamists to build sympathy for supporters of a proscribed group that is stuffed full of Islamists

Rioter in France.
“In the name of Allah, we will kill them all!”
But apparently it’s about classrooms.

In riots, burning, looting & destruction across France Palestinian flags dominate. The craven appeasement of jihadists, such as the likes of Macron turning against Israel has not worked & will not work. There is a lesson here for Western European political leaders.

The creator of the 'Palestine poppy' is an Oxford-educated paediatrician who has written books for Muslim teenagers justifying stoning and warning that homosexuality is 'a test from Allah'.
Abdul Qader Ismail was accused of trying to 'hijack' Remembrance Day after he began selling an enamel pin shaped like a poppy in the colours of the Palestinian flag for £1.78 on eBay. The pin is listed as 'not for profit' with money being donated to Gaza charities.
The Spectator can now reveal that Ismail is an active member of Greens for Palestine and co-sponsored the group's 'Zionism is Racism' policy. He is also the author of a book series titled An Introduction to Challenging Topics for Muslim Teens.

So Saudi Arabia just executed two newlyweds because he kissed her on the forehead in a mosque.
Trending Story: Saudi Arabia has exe/cuted two Bangladeshi nationals, Nazrul Islam Abdul Basir and Siri Akhtar, following conviction of immoral sexual act inside a mosque in Mecca.
The “immoral act” was apparently a kiss on the forehead. They were newlyweds who decided to spend their honeymoon in Mecca.
According to reports in Bangladesh, Saudi authorities refused to consider they were a couple, and the forehead kiss was an expression of appreciation to Allah for a beautiful bride.
Their bodies have arrived in Bangladesh in two coffins for traditional burial rites.

The riots in France are not as simple as just 'immigrants against France'. It's much worse than that.
Watch any of the clips going viral on X. It's just not the Algerians and Moroccans indulging in the violence, looting, and destruction of common property, though of course they are. It's also people who appear visibly to be native French people of all ages.
What they share in common is an ideology and worldview, what the French often call 'Islamo-gauschisme'. They have a single shared, hated enemy: the West.
The Palestine flags are not a coincidence. The migrant cohorts and the Left hate Israel because they see it as an "Ultra-White" Western colony, a kind of holdover from pre-colonisation.
In their eyes, the global project of 'decolonisation' has barely begun – their aims go much further than just moaning about British Museum property – and yet it has (in their view) failed at the first stage because it has failed to annihilate Israel. It's the itch that keeps itching.
Palestine is an empty signifier – as the late Ernesto Laclau would have termed it – which is empty precisely because it overflows with the meaning poured into it. And they believe they're engaged in a global campaign to topple Israel – but, and this is *crucial* – not just Israel. Israel is, in their view – and they repeatedly say this openly – simply the first domino. Once it falls, so they say, so will the rest of the West.
And then we'll finally live in a Communist utopia.
There's generations of young people in the West – not just of immigrant background but of native stock – who believe all of this. What they seem not to understand is that particularly the Islamists among them do not share the goal of a Communist utopia.
Nothing could be further from the imagination of the Algerian in the Banlieue than a stateless, classless, moneyless society, in which one might hunt in the morning, fish in the afternoon, rear cattle in the evening, criticize after dinner, just as I have in mind, without ever becoming hunter, fisherman, shepherd or critic.
We saw much the same dynamic at play in the Iranian Revolution of 1979. Khomenei was carried to power on a wave of unrest by a mixture of student intellectuals, communists, organised Islamist movements, and vast numbers of the public who could have been swayed in various ways in the moment.
In the end, Khomenei came to power, and the organised Islamists hanged the communists from cranes and tortured them to death in prisons. It's the only way that sort of alliance ever ends.
