Nearly half of those who voted in my poll haven’t tried Grok Bots yet. I find it surprising as I assumed many more people had used @bot by now. For those who might find it useful, here's my main template: a chief of staff who runs all my AI assistants. x.ai/bot/Q95CiuxaGmjpJiBG02X…

Mother especially. It’s still going to take a while before growing babies can be fully outsourced to artificial incubators.

I assume Microsoft has a ton of employees who are nearing retirement and who may not be very interested in upgrading their skill set close to the end of their career, so I don’t see this buyout as anything odd tbh. I’m saying this as someone who has met quite a few boomers who have worked for pretty big companies, and many of them clearly seem ready to move on to the next phase of their life. It just seems like a good way to reorganize their workforce really.
This is crazy. Absolutely insane. We were told the AI boom would create a massive wave of new tech jobs. Instead, Microsoft just offered voluntary buyouts to 60,000 employees, nearly 27% of its entire workforce. I know this isn't a mandatory layoff, but it's a clear sign of how much cash the AI infrastructure race is burning. Building data centers for OpenAI, Anthropic and cloud customers is so expensive that Microsoft is actively trying to shrink its payroll to protect cash flow. Ironically, even the teams building Copilot and AI Experiences are on the buyout list. - Scope: Around 60,000 employees out of 223,000 globally are eligible across the US, India, UK, and Canada. - Seniority: Open to Level 70 and below. - Who's included: AI Experiences, Copilot, Xbox, Windows + Devices, Finance, and HR. Sales, Marketing, and Security are excluded. - The package: Standard severance, with a minimum of 60 days of base pay on payroll, scaling up to 39 weeks of base pay depending on level and tenure. - Timeline: Employees must decide by early December, with their last day set for December 31.

I need to be able to add bots to my Signal or WhatsApp group chats without actually handing them the keys to my own accounts. Aka bots need their own phone number, also useful for 2FA purposes. Also, they need a separate X Money wallet, not a direct access to my own. Anything else that seems urgent/important to y’all?
What are most important things to improve about Grok @Bot? Btw, make sure you’ve tried Bot recently, as over 100 features & fixes are released every week!

Can we have more good news today? The week is starting pretty well anyway 😎
Anthropic just revealed an absolutely massive $120.5 BILLION in computing agreements with SpaceX in its IPO filing today And the scale of SpaceX's SI infrastructure business is getting insane Here's what Anthropic disclosed: • Up to $120.5B in SI compute spending through 2029 • Monthly payments reaching approximately $3.1 BILLION once full capacity is delivered • That's an annualized rate of $37.2 BILLION • Full contracted computing capacity expected by December 2026 • Agreements can be terminated with 90 days' notice after initial periods ending in January and March 2027 SpaceX is building its own frontier AI models while simultaneously providing the computing power needed by its competitors

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but many lives are going to be drastically improved over the next 6-12 months. Mine has already changed a lot in the last two months, and I’m sure I’m not the only one. The ripple effect is going to be huge.

Most people don’t understand what they can do with agents, and that’s a fact more smart people need to realize. Onboarding the masses is going to take time. And in many cases, the masses might be better off working for agents, rather than the other way around. 👀
This is f*cking insane. SpaceXAI senior engineer (ex-Cursor): "99% of people open one GrokBot, ask it a question and close the tab I run 50+ GrokBot agents like a company. A Chief of Staff runs my day, 3 PMs hand out the work, 40+ workers ship it overnight, and I just check the results over coffee. That team does the job of 20 engineers" In this 1-hour workshop, SpaceXAI builds that GrokBot team from scratch, step by step GrokBot → Chief of Staff → PMs → 40+ Workers → Autonomous Company At SpaceXAI, 97% of engineers already run a team like this, and the ones who do are getting $750K+ offers. The rest are about to compete with them Worth more than any $5,000 agentic engineering course Bookmark it and watch today Then read how to build your own team of GrokBot agents in the harness engineering guide below ↓

I’ve just realized I got auto enrolled in a universal high income pilot program last week. I’m a bit slow, I know. The future is going to be awesome anyway. 😎

As a millennial, I approve of this. As a foreign born person who has trouble getting understood by strangers on the phone, even more so. I’m really looking forward to never needing to make a phone call or write an email ever again. (Calls are strictly for my family and most have been video calls for year.)
Grok @Bot can now call someone or a business for you, make a request on your behalf, take notes on the response and send you a note summarizing the conversation!

Big if true. 👀 Spicy week ahead, and a good reminder you should have a cybersecurity agent on your team if you haven’t taken care of that template yet. 🙃
🇺🇸 🚨 USA: OPENROUTER.AI USER DATABASE AND API KEYS ALLEGEDLY FOR SALE A threat actor on an underground forum claims to be selling a database associated with openrouter[.]ai, including user records and API keys. The actor claims: * 251,996 user rows (about 250,000 unique users) * 207,847 API keys (described as sk-or-v1 format; active / revoked / expired mix) Alleged user fields include emails, usernames, password material (hashed and some plaintext claimed), names, signup dates, credits, plan and country. Alleged API-key fields include user linkage, key values, creation/last-used timestamps, spend and rate limits. The claim has not been independently verified. ⚠️ Analyst Note: If authentic, exposed API keys would enable unauthorized LLM spend and account takeover, and user emails/credentials would fuel phishing and credential stuffing. Key values and sample rows are redacted from our images and are not reproduced here. Unverified threat-actor claim, NOT confirmation of an OpenRouter compromise. Source: this is for subscribers only. Can we all agree Lauren should be celebrated as the most influential person in the AI space this year? I mean, apart from the obvious ones we’ve known about for years.
Be like @poteto 😎 > Grew up in Singapore with no CS background. > Taught herself design as a teen. > Studied finance at Monash. > First program was an Excel VBA macro. > Failed a startup. > Started blogging and tweeting while learning to code. > EmberConf organizers found her tweets. > Invited her to speak in 2015. > She was a nobody in Melbourne. > Shaking through her first talk. > That one talk changed everything. > Landed at DockYard. Moved to the US. > Another talk got her into Netflix. > Built studio tools. Became a tech lead. > Then an engineering manager. > Missed building. Went back to IC work. > Open-sourced hiring-without-whiteboards. > Dan Abramov invited her to React at Meta. > Imposter syndrome. Said yes anyway. > Six years on the @reactjs team. > Sole author of the React Compiler Beta post. > Co-author of React Compiler 1.0. > Burned out. Took time off. > Started building agent tools for herself. > Joined @cursor_ai in 2026. > Taught agents to verify their own work. > That became pstack. > Cursor got acquired into @SpaceXSI. > Rebuilt Grok Bot. > Now ships 2,000–2,500 PRs a month. > Went from 31K to 200K+ followers. > @elonmusk keeps reposting her. She didn’t start with a degree or confidence. She started by writing in public. Every major job came from people finding her posts. Now she’s building Grok Bot and still on the React Compiler core team. She is truly an inspiration. ✨✨

I can’t even imagine how boring life would be if I was limited to talking to my immediate neighbors and local soccer moms. Who could I talk to about my bots and what they’re cooking while I’m actually cooking?

There are some evenings when I feel like I’m the one working for my agents rather than the other way around. Am I the only one?

Awesome to hear real creatives supporting current developments. It should be obvious to everyone that gatekeeping leads nowhere. Let’s unleash more creativity and humanity will make leaps forward like never before.
Shigeru Miyamoto, creator of Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda, on generative AI and the evolution of videogame creation: 'As you mentioned earlier, this is an era where even people who aren't game designers can make games. If we broaden the definition of a 'game,' I think the era has already arrived where everyone can make games. I had always thought it would be ideal for those boundaries to disappear, so I think this has become a very good era.' youtu.be/7M3S78Igxak?si=eaGY…

Real. I’ve had more side projects in the last few years than in the last few decades.
people think AI users are lazy. it's the opposite. i've never worked this much in my life. the difference is that now the hours go into the thing i actually care about, not into fighting tools i don't understand

I’ve made many more templates, some of which I’ve already shared here on X. I rework them and improve them on a regular basis, so will share improved versions here again in the future. If you need any help getting started, feel free to DM me. :)

Real. We have alarms for bed time in our home, they actually matter more than the morning ones. In the morning we try to make sure kids can wake up whenever it’s natural to do so following their circadian rhythm.
there are very few things you can do to improve your health that matter more than fixing your sleep schedule go to bed and wake up at roughly the same time every day. get at least 7 hours of sleep every night unironically, you should have an alarm that tells you when to go to bed, not just when to wake up do this consistently for a few weeks and you'll feel like a completely different person

Let’s not forget that kids are fed unhealthy breakfasts in many schools, the second they step into the building. And then they’re not given the chance to stand up and walk off that excess energy. Meanwhile, European kids get at least 3 recess periods per day, and there’s a decent gap between breakfast and the start of school.
That’s a fact! The teachers and the elementary school in my old town NJ wanted to label and medicate my oldest for fidgeting in class at 7 years old. Where he had to sit still for hours at a time with no physical activity thrown in between classes. He was compared to girls that were content coloring for hours. Took matters into my own hands. Made a lot of enemies at the school district, told them they’re not going to use my family to fulfill their grant quotas for next year’s funding. Fight for your kids, so they actually have a chance at life afterwards. My son thanks me on a regular basis now for standing up for him when it mattered.
