When you’re waiting for your deposit from @FirstCarRental to be returned to your account but it’s 14 days later & @StandardBankZA still hasn’t released it & @StandardBankZA keeps denying that they received a notification from @FirstCarRental to release it. I’m not the only one.
Please go to dearsouthafrica.org and save theatre. The amendment to the health act won’t allow us to play at 100% capacity, which means musicals won’t happen indefinitely. vm.tiktok.com/ZMLqYt26G/

So Musical Theatre still can’t open at 50% capacity. 2 years on& people still can’t work in shows like‘The Lion King’, ‘We Will Rock You’, but restaurants remain open maskless. #ramaphosaforgotus #opentheatresatfullcapacity Ramaphosa forgot the theatre performers! 🎭 #savethearts
The biggest farce so far is that you don’t have to isolate if you haven’t got symptoms. WTF! #COVID19 When will the world realize that they have been played?!
The South African government doesn’t want its actors, singers, dancers and crew to form a union because unionized performers and crew will have:
- Higher wages
- Better benefits
- More control over their lives
Until @CyrilRamaphosa signs the bill, we have no rights. #natimustgo
@PresidencyZA restaurant and worship places to the brim of capacity without masks, but a theatre must stay at 50%. Double standards.

Still wondering with proper protocols, how theatre is a threat?! When restaurants don’t follow the rules? #savethearts #savesouthafricantheatre #savelifetheatre @CyrilRamaphosa #savetheartists #makeusaunion
