My first time witnessing Kīlauea erupt. Unforgettable. Episode 41 sent a nearly 1,500-foot lava fountain into the sky. Feeling the heat, hearing the roar, and watching nature’s power up close was unreal. Lucky to experience it before tephra increased and rangers closed the trail. – at Honolulu, HI
