The withdrawal of African troops as promised over the next few months would be the best thing that could happen to Somalia.

Somalia is rising, and new investment opportunities are emerging as geopolitical dynamics reshape the Horn of Africa. Under the EU’s Everything But Arms (EBA) initiative, eligible Somali exports enjoy duty-free, quota-free access to European markets, except arms and ammunition.
Investors can seize this opportunity to build competitive industries, expand exports, and capture emerging markets. The time to invest in Somalia is now. 💯🇸🇴🇪🇺

Yesterday, Gen. Galaal took a considerable risk by stepping forward as a whistleblower, warning the Somali people of what he described as an existential threat: a long-term project aimed not merely at weakening Somalia, but at its eventual dismantling & takeover through a “counterterrorism” buffer zone instalment plan.
The most disturbing aspect of his warning is not the existence of foreign plots. Nations have always faced adversaries. What is far more unsettling is the suggestion that elements of Somalia's leadership were aware of these designs and failed to mount any meaningful effort to counter them.
It is worth recalling that during the previous administration, the opposition relentlessly accused the government of overseeing Al-Shabaab's expansion while offering little resistance as the group entrenched itself across the country & edged ever closer to swallowing the capital.
The term “Labaadi Shabaab” did not emerge from nowhere. It was born from a widespread perception that the Fahad-Farmaajo era presided over the strengthening of the very threat it claimed to be fighting. Equally striking is how dramatically the political landscape appears to have shifted.
As the current administration intensifies military pressure on Al-Shabaab and the group's territorial grip comes under sustained assault, suspicion & accusations no longer flow toward those in government. Instead, they have increasingly gravitate toward elements of the standing opposition. History has a habit of exposing the hidden truth.
What we have seen play out for decades is that Somalia's dysfunction has been explained through the language of insecurity. Al-Shabaab became both the symptom & the excuse; the perpetual justification for stalled institutions, deferred accountability, & unfulfilled promises. But what happens when that excuse begins to disappear?
If Al-Shabaab's defeat is finally becoming conceivable, then Somalia is approaching a moment of profound clarity. We may soon learn who was fighting an insurgency, & who was merely riding it. The loudest voices in politics are often revealed not by the crisis they condemn, but by the peace they pursue with actionable effort. Some careers are built on solving crises. Others are built on ensuring the crisis never truly ends.

This is just intellectual fraud what 😭😭😭
I was wondering where this misinformation was coming from and who authored this "Analysis", it's just from Abdirizak Atosh's work that's being translated. Atosh has been running blatant disinformation against the current administration and has essentially become an inseparable mouthpiece for Al-Shabaab, so his angle is completely understandable.
But Suldan? I thought he was using his own work and was moderate. This is blatant intellectual theft.
It looks like we are seeing a highly coordinated misinformation campaign against the SNA by data-entry clerks laundering identical scripts.

Nothing unsettles professional pessimists quite like evidence.
While some traffic in doom & despair, “loo joojin maayo” Dan Qaran keeps producing visible results. Progress remains the most compelling argument on the table.
Bravo @HassanAHosow for steering the conversation back to reality. And to everyone across government, private sector, & the wider society who helped build today's progress: your work speaks louder than the schadenfreude polluted noise. 🤌🏽✨ #NumbersNeverLie

Heavy rain is now the challenge facing by #Somalia’s SNA preparing to enter #Burhakaba city.
Secured roads from terrorists but rain is impacting their intention to capture Burhakaba districts from Al shabab and Laftagaren's militias.

Governments are elected, questioned, and held accountable. The Somali National Army belongs to the nation.
Yesterday, our soldiers stood firm against Al-Shabaab in defence of our people, our sovereignty, and our nation.
We stand with our soldiers. We respect our army.

I can tell you Hiiraan region belongs to me too & won’t allow it to become a battleground for foreign actors against FGS. Grievances against FGS & HirShabele can be resolved through negotiation & that is what we have been doing. Politicians in cahoots with mercenaries will fail.
Former Somali Intelligence chief Sanbaloolshe has admitted, on the record, that he met Somaliland’s Abdirahman Irro, Puntland’s Said Deni and Jubaland’s Ahmed Madobe in the UAE. Somalia’s so-called opposition seems to think this is some kind of game. It’s not. Get into bed with Abu Dhabi and you pay for it, and the bill is your country.
Somalis need to call these men what they are: traitors. If you don’t, you’ll be left with nothing. And don’t count on anyone to save you. Washington doesn’t care. Europe doesn’t care. If you won’t defend Somalia, no one else will.

SOMALIA | MOUNTING EVIDENCE OF AL-SHABAAB–LAFTAGAREEN COORDINATION
The fighting around Leego and Jameecada is no longer just a matter of competing political statements.
Eyewitness accounts, reported battlefield footage, and attack claims circulated by Al-Shabaab-linked media and Laftagareen-aligned accounts have raised serious questions about coordinated operations against the Somali National Army.
These developments reinforce concerns Somali authorities have already raised about cooperation between the two sides.
This is a national security matter. The eyewitness testimony, video evidence, and battlefield reports demand a full, transparent investigation and public accountability.
