It doesn’t have to be perfect and it never will be a perfect situation. But can the Raiders at least fix ONE—just one of their problems before they toss him in? -Run game -O-line -Defense -Add a WR? At least give him SOMETHING to work with.

This is the nfl, there’s never gonna be a perfect time and situation to bring in your young qb. If you don’t have confidence in Mendoza to be a problem solver then why did you take him first overall.

Raider fans are some of the lowest IQ football fans on the planet. No nuance, either you're great or you suck. Most people don't have the critical thinking skills to understand the WHY of wins/losses or the WHY of players playing well/poorly. Respect for interacting with them.

Agreed. None of the fanbase wants to lose. We all knew it wasn't going to be sunshine and roses all season. This team has warts and the Raiders have to work their way through it. I think Kubiak was the right hire and I'm all for giving him time.

So much of the talk around Klint Kubiak has changed over the last 4 weeks. I know losses will do that, but he went from a quality hire to a numbskull in a month (to some people), as if we didn’t know those last 4 games would be the toughest stretch on the schedule.

Raiders should at least fix or improve one of these problematic areas before they insert Fernando Mendoza into the lineup. Again, the Raiders situation will NEVER be perfect for Mendoza, but at least make it better so he has a chance at some early success.
