Across Scotland and the wider UK we’ve watched Christmas markets become “Winter markets,” Christmas cards turned into “Winter cards,” and churches & chapels closing one by one.
Yet people still turn to Christ in their day of need.
In recovery from drugs or alcohol, many reach for a higher power.
The Christian faith needs to start doing more for its people.
There is still a divide in this country between Protestants and Catholics and it needs to change.
We are under one faith.
At a time when our most vulnerable have little support, division is not an option.
Governments are failing both the Christian belief and the thousands struggling with addiction.
This is the time to help.
I’m not a practising Christian myself, but I stand with those who are.
Imagine the power of Christians from all over the UK Protestant and Catholic together coming together for a public march in Edinburgh, Glasgow, or beyond, the same way we see it done in other European countries.
A visible stand for the faith and for those who need it most.
This is way above any one person’s head and would need massive planning.
But we’re putting the idea out there.
If people want to come together and organise it, we would be more than happy to support and help make it happen.
The faith is still here.
It just needs to stand up and be seen.

Various members of those appalling Conservative governments have labelled Restore Britain extremists or whatever else.
Rees-Mogg, Nadine Dorries, Boris Johnson and some.
My view? What they inflicted on our country was the real extremist policy.
Unfettered immigration from the third world, COVID lockdowns, vaccine passports, record taxes, outrageous debt, the spread of DEI.
A betrayal, on so many levels.
They had the majority, they failed - astonishingly, many are now helping to lead Reform.

The Times reports a former bodyguard to the leader of Hamas secured citizenship in Britain before plotting a terrorist attack. Restore Britain's policy here is strong.
A dual national who engages in terrorism, espionage, murder, rape, treasonous activity or similarly extreme conduct against Britain will lose British citizenship.
Citizenship obtained through fraud or deception will be revoked - a mass review of citizenships granted will be undertaken by a Restore Britain government.
Where an individual has renounced another nationality in an attempt to remain in our country, a Restore Britain government will seek agreements with relevant countries to facilitate the restoration of that earlier nationality, and then remove them.
Over time, we will seek to develop these arrangements into a broader network of bilateral agreements, providing a workable mechanism for dealing with cases in which deprivation of British citizenship is judged necessary - there will be many such cases.
The damage done through granting citizenships is vast, so much more than we will ever understand.
But a Restore Britain Government will do everything in its power to undo as much of that as possible.

This is a big mistake.
Restore Britain will abolish it in FULL, for everyone.
We have already published a detailed policy paper setting out why a Restore Britain Government will abolish it, and how we will pay for it.
You work your entire life.
You pay tax on your income. Tax on what you buy. Tax on your investments. Tax on your property.
