From today’s Binance hack, no $ADA or $NIGHT tokens were stolen.
And for a good reason:
- The attackers compromised a hot wallet key and an internal signing service, the same class of breach that has drained other exchanges before. But the ADA and NIGHT balances were not sitting in a simple account style hot wallet. They were held in a Cardano multi signature script (eUTxO) that required an additional on chain authorization from a separate, air gapped key controlled by a different team, plus a timelock that only released after a short challenge window.
- Midnight’s privacy layer added a second practical obstacle: the precise amounts and destination addresses were shielded with zk proofs. The attackers could see that “some” assets existed, but they could not confirm exact balances or craft a clean withdrawal transaction without generating valid selective disclosure proofs they did not possess. By the time they realized the funds were not freely spendable under the compromised key, the internal response team had already rotated the remaining signers and frozen the script.
- The only assets that left the platform were tokens that relied purely on centralized hot wallet controls. ADA and NIGHT stayed put because their movement was gated by on chain script conditions and privacy constraints that the stolen credentials alone could not satisfy.
In short: the keys were compromised, the script conditions and zk requirements were not.

Welcome to Midnight, Tron @justinsuntron
INSIGHT: Midnight's Nightmode is "bringing privacy to TRON and anyone doing payments on TRON in December of this year. It's private, and more importantly, it's compliant. You can use industry-standard screening tools that centralized exchanges use," according to Sig Network CEO.

Dropping by to let everyone know that I spoke with @phillip_pon and we are working out a plan to create a discord for a great migration of the Cardano community from X. We can have happy, positive, well-moderated channels and leave behind the drama, lies, endless rage, and embittered people for a place where real conversations and real progress can be made.
I will continue broadcasting live streams to X as I have a million followers here, but will only take AMA questions from the new Cardano and current Midnight discords. I've seen some commentary that broadcasting means I'm back on X. For those people, I can't solve stupid.
Enjoy your scandals of the week and FUD. Real work is done elsewhere. Looking forward to Cardano ascending to better days, governance, and culture.
Cardano hasn’t reached its final form.
• Ouroboros Leios — next-gen scaling architecture in development to increase throughput
• Hydra — layer-2 protocol enabling near-instant, low-cost transactions
• Mithril — fast, lightweight node synchronization
• Midnight — data protection and compliance-focused sidechain
• Bitcoin DeFi — bringing BTC liquidity into the Cardano ecosystem
• Cross-chain interoperability — expanding multi-chain connectivity
• Potential ADA ETFs — increasing institutional access
Bitcoin 🤝 Cardano interoperability is no longer theoretical.
Charms just demonstrated:
• Assets moving both directions
• ADA-native tokens on Bitcoin
• eBTC on Cardano
• Shared Rust + WASM app layer
This is what real UTXO composability looks like.

Circle's USDCx stablecoin is scheduled to launch on Cardano $ADA this week.
Teams working on the integration said the user-experience will be seamless.
Who's excited for it?

So far, PENTAD has announced 4 major integrations for Cardano $ADA
- Circle's USDCx stablecoin
- Pyth Oracle
- Dune Analytics
- LayerZero messaging protocol
Really nice to see all the core entities working together to push Cardano forward.
Do you like what PENTAD introduced?

Many people aren’t paying attention yet, but I believe $BTC ↔ $ADA atomic swaps could play a major role in the Cardano ecosystem!
They represent the cleanest and most trust-minimized on-ramp for bringing Bitcoin liquidity into Cardano.
This type of atomic swap doesn’t require liquidity pools, wrapped assets, or trusted bridge operators. Even if a trade fails, funds are safely returned to their original owners. In simple terms, this is one of the most conservative and robust ways to implement cross-chain swaps.
This is possible because Bitcoin and Cardano share the UTXO model, allowing HTLC-based, trust-minimized atomic swaps.
Bitcoin’s total market capitalization is around $1.76T. Even if just 1% of that value were to move into Cardano, that would be roughly $17.6B. Compared to Cardano’s current DeFi TVL of about $176.9M, that’s nearly a 100× increase, a massive opportunity for the Cardano DeFi ecosystem.
The Bitcoin community is famously conservative and generally distrusts other chains. Cardano is one of the very few smart contract platforms that matches Bitcoin’s emphasis on decentralization and security. Combined with the shared UTXO model and bridge less atomic swaps, it becomes a uniquely credible option for Bitcoin users.
I'm sure that Cardano is one of the most compelling candidates for BTCFi, and atomic swaps like this could be a key catalyst in making that transition possible.

Dear crypto community, let’s be clear: Cardano NEVER went down. 🦋🔥🍄
During the recent network incident, block production never stopped, the chain never went offline, and the protocol kept running. (Please stop spreading misinformation)
What happened showed the world the strength of a true community and the power of well-engineered tech. If this was meant to be a test, we passed it with great excellence.
Cardano SPOs, developers, and builders across the world came together instantly, coordinated openly, and shared data to strengthen the network asap.
Thousands of people taking responsibility for the ecosystem they believe in.
This is what true decentralization looks like.
This is why Cardano is different.
This is why I keep falling in love with this ecosystem.
Massive kudos to everyone involved in fixing the petite bug as quickly as possible. 👏
Cardano Community, you rock! 🥰❤️ – at Zurich, Switzerland

Q1 2026: dApps go live
Q2: SPOs + nodes go online
Q3: Full network launch, bridging + interoperability for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and more..
Here’s how Cardano could benefit from all of it 👇
