Kind of cool for WOTC to include my decklist in the latest B&R discussion, hopefully they can add my real name next time 😂.
@fireshoes for anything mtg related

Top 4’d the standard challenge with B/W Lifegain. Amalia is one of my favorite cards, so had to try the deck out. Lot of polarizing matchups for sure, fun deck though. Matchups below ⬇️

3rd place in the modern challenge last night with Boros Energy. I’ve been trying other decks the past couple weeks, this list is still elite post ban. The core remains the same, would probably look more into playing more Phelia’s in the future

Split top 8 of the SCG 5k Standard RCQ on Saturday at SCGCON Cincy. Izzet Prowess was a fantastic choice for the weekend, hopefully can play in the main event in a couple weeks. Ancestral Anger was good, giving Drake Hatcher trample is neat.

Got 1st Place in yesterday’s big modern challenge with Boros Energy. Always room for improvement in the deck, really enjoyed the March in the mainboard. I can see bumping the card up to 2 copies.
@fireshoes to spread the good word.
Finished 10-4-1 for 42nd place at the Spotlight Series ATL event. Min cash + foil promo not too bad. Izzet Lessons was a very fun and complex deck, very powerful but not as brain dead as Simic Cub. (Cub is probably the best deck though pre Lowyrn 🤢).

Back to back top 8’s of the standard challenge, with Sultai Monster Reborn. Maindeck is very solid, Sideboard still could use some help. Deck is great into everything except Bant Aang.

@fireshoes I did it again 😂
Top 8’d yesterday’s Standard Challenge with Sultai Monster Reborn. Maindeck is great, sideboard definitely needs working on. Only loss to mirrors. Glad to be on the Mtgo grind again.

Top 4’d the Modern Challenge earlier today with my favorite deck, Boros Energy

@fireshoes spread the word, Boros Energy is decent.
Also shoutouts to Vegas, love this place.
Top 4’d the Modern Challenge 64 today with Affinity. Deck was alright, the highs are very high but you can also do nothing for a few turns and die. Might play a better version of this for Houston, Spider-Sense sucks for example.
@fireshoes for visibility
Won the modern challenge today with Esper Goryo, first time playing the deck. Felt very strong, would probably play this moving forward. I misplayed multiple times and the deck carried.
