Momentum trading is very hard right now but this is the best market you could ask for as a rookie trader. You learn great defense. You sharpen your edge on entries. You learn to react quickly to changing conditions.
A good mean reversion snapback if you held on to some of those buys from yesterday. Not a strong market at all. Just a normal reaction to extreme selling.
Rejected under the resistance noted and already collected most of the gains in technology stocks today.
Conditions in the Nasdaq could improve if QQQ can hold above 715.50, which would open the door for a larger bounce. Below that, everything bought this morning is just a short-term trade.
A very good price action day for many stocks. Cybersecurity, software and retail continue to work. Last week’s tech selling dissipated and that made SOXL and DRAM a good buy today for a bounce trade. Not suggestive of a reversal in tech, just a mean reversion bounce.
Was a super 70% move for the MRNA trade but today the stock finally broke it's rising channel and stopped out.
A much larger plunge in the semis looks like it’s building. Could be devastating for those bag holding the AI names.
Not a bullish day for AI related stocks. I’m sure people are trying to bottom fish but these names have a lot more work to do to prove themselves. Could still see them plunging again soon.
Not expecting LLY to act anywhere near as strong as the MRNA trade but if it can stay out of the base it has a shot at a large move.
The next problem I see is Iran stepping up attacks and getting more vocal into midterms. Let's hope not but a challenging market.
