Nothing is more inspiring than to see Lee students earnestly seek the Lord! I’m so grateful for what’s happening at Lee. That’s why we built this chapel - in fact, why we build the entire university: to provide a place where students can experience and pursue the things of God!

Prayer is never a desperate anxious gamble. God's attention is not based on our performance but parental love.

People are messy; therefore, relationships will be messy. Expect messiness--and that's why no one can expect lasting marriages, friendship, or communities without knowing how to give and receive forgiveness.

Jesus didn’t say, “come to me all who are crushing it, living your best life, and I will give you rest.” He said, “come to me, all who are weary, and I will give you rest.”
If you’re discouraged, tired, or weary, don’t worry. That’s exactly how Jesus expected you to come to him.

I love this country, and I don’t feel corny saying I’m “proud to be an American!” Yes, the U.S. has problems and it’s not perfect; but I believe America is a truly exceptional nation, still today as throughout history. I’m so thankful for my country and all its blessings! – at Cleveland, TN

O Lord, you who lift my head up high, I lift my soul to you: guard my heart, I pray, from self-deception, my thoughts from vain imaginations, my lips from falsehood, my hands from violence and my soul from evil, so that I might walk in the way of integrity this day. Amen.

“What am I doing in the meantime, Lord? Hoping, that’s what I’m doing— hoping... I’ll say no more, I’ll shut my mouth, since you, Lord, are behind all this....When you put us through the fire to purge us from our sin, our dearest idols go up in smoke. Psalm 39:7-11 #covid

Even in a time of social distancing, we believe that service is a crucial part of the Lee experience. While Deke Day looked a little different this year, we know our students' efforts today made a positive impact on our local community. #LeeUArrival
