RatPool is a Skill-to-Earn arena game built on @solana .
Download the app, sign up, claim free test USDC and enter the arena to compete with other players.
The top 3 players split 90% of the pool.
Think you've got enough skill to earn your place at the top?

Currently on Devnet.
Good question.
RatPool rewards the players who play best. You need good aim to land kills, solid jetpack control to move around the map, and the awareness to hold the marked zones, because staying inside them keeps adding points even when you're not fighting.
If you're new, the lower lobbies are a cheap way to learn the game before moving up.
As always, you only bet on yourself.

As a Web3 gamer, read this before you put another dollar into a game that pays you in printed tokens ๐

Skill-to-earn on Solana.
Players stake USDC and compete, and the winner takes the escrow. There's no token involved and everything runs on-chain.
Devnet is live.

@Ratpoolxyz is a skill-to-earn game where players stake real USDC, compete in matches, and winners take from the escrow pool.
It has no native token and runs entirely on on-chain escrow and real skill.
Live on devnet, with more players joining every day.
Who's trying a match?

Attempting to add @Ratpoolxyz to @solanamobile .. is it really this straight forward ๐๐

This is literally @Ratpoolxyz .
It's a 2D multiplayer arena game built on Solana, where up to 40 players compete for a pool. The pool is funded together by everyone who enters, and the top 3 split 90% of it.
It's currently on devnet, and that's what RatPool is all about.

The minimum of six players per pool was carefully chosen.
Even in the worst case scenario, there will always be at least six people in the pool before a match kicks off on @Ratpoolxyz
Every RatPool match needs at least 6 players to get started, and each pool stays open for 1 minute while players join, though it closes immediately once it's full.
That keeps lobbies moving fast, so you're never stuck waiting around long before you're in the arena playing for the pool.

If you've been playing Web3 games for a while, there's a good chance you've spent more on them than you ever got back.
You bought the NFT to get in, you put in the hours every day, you watched the reward token you were earning lose value week after week, and at some point the game either went quiet or shut down completely, taking whatever you had left with it.
And this didn't happen to a few unlucky people. It happened across almost every play-to-earn game that got big, from Axie Infinity to STEPN, and most of the players weren't doing anything wrong.
The problem was in how those games paid people in the first place, and once you understand it, you'll see why a different model called skill-to-earn, now being built by games on @solana, works the other way around.

It's also still early, and that's worth knowing before you jump in.
RatPool is live on @solana devnet right now, and every pool runs on test USDC with no cash value. Mainnet with real USDC comes after an independent audit of the escrow and payments system.
The whitepaper is also open about where the trust sits. The escrow handles the money, but the room server runs the match and reports the result, and it checks every hit against the shot that caused it so cheaters can't fake impossible moves. The upgrade key is a single offline key for now, with a multisig planned before or at mainnet.
So which one is better? If you're asking which model can keep paying players without collapsing, skill-to-earn wins, and it isn't close. Play-to-earn paid you with the next player's money, while skill-to-earn pays you with the money of the player you just beat.
My prediction is that by the end of 2027, almost every crypto game still paying players will be paying from entry fees, prize pools or real outside revenue, and almost none will be paying in a token they print for playing.
If you want to see what that looks like, Free Play is open at ratpool.xyz/play, the staked pools are running on test USDC, and @Ratpoolxyz is where the updates land.
