@Raven_Lark makes great point about the 2050 target being a political, not scientific target. Pleased to hear so many people raise this problem at the #100Renewable online forum now.
We've #FiveYears of #carbonbudget remaining to exceed 1.5°. Business as usual means ruination.

A few people brought up this very important point at the meeting tonight. 2050 is a political target, not scientific. The limit arrives decades earlier.

imho laws that permit scabs to be hired violate our freedoms as protected under the Human Rights Code and The Charter>economic warfare = strike v. lockout, not 'replacing those on strike with non union employees', ??

@PremierScottMoe has no intention of changing the law that allows scab labour during labour disputes.

We're on first break. Before this all started, I posted a thread about ways you can support community media. I'm a community media guy! They/we need your help. teapawt.net/PaulDechene/status/126…
Council meeting starts at 1:30. I will live tweet as @PDcityhall. But before I start, I want to put out a plea (that I promise does not end w/ a link to my patreon — I haven't one). Community media is suffering, everybody. It needs your support… |1 #yqr #yqrcc #regina

Today is #InternationalWomensDay and we recognise that women are still far from equal to men in today’s societies.
We can not have climate justice without gender equity.
And remember; what we women want today - and every day- is equality, not congratulations or celebrations.
YES!....it is the "rule of Law" that human rights codes which include freedoms like expression , the Charter of rights and FREEDOMS, the constitution and yes, some international laws actually override all other laws....sheesh already !!
In Solidarity...makes this viral
