In RNA Biology: FMRP regulates rRNA 2′O-methylation during neuronal differentiation. FMRP–snoRNA interactions shape ribosome epitranscriptomic states; loss of FMRP alters stepwise 2′O-Me dynamics, disrupting translation control in Fragile X Syndrome.
