It is extraordinary that the USA gets treated to a dismantling of the Tory party orders of magnitude better than the tame efforts anyone dares attempt here.
(And no, it's not the swearing that makes the difference - it's the accuracy of the attacks.)

The timing of the election might cause problems for some, esp students coming to the end of term or those who have holidays booked (whoever they intend to vote for). The solution is to apply for a postal vote. Here’s the link to do so. Please share.

Hello Cricket Twitter - I’m compiling a list of positive & negative points about the 100 - please could people get back to me with valid points - this isn’t an excuse for people just saying they hate it or how traditional CC is - it’s for something I’m doing. Thank you!

Great to see @SFRSYourSafety and @WaterSafetyScot ice safety messaging.
With a few days of cold temps, small shallow bodies of water will start to freeze over.
Please tell those around you to:
#StopandThink
#StayOffTheIce
#WaterSafety
In winter, children and pets are particularly at risk when tempted to play on the ice formed on open water, and adults can find themselves at risk in attempting to save them.
