Video of clashes in Culiacán 2025 which left Mexican military personnel wounded and at least one soldier dead. I got nothg but respect for those who go out knowing they might not make it home. It's easy to watch these gunfights from behind a screen, but behind every uniform is someone with a family waiting for them. Cartel violence has taken far too many lives. Respect to those still standing against it.
There's a reason communities start taking matters into their own hands. When people feel the authorities aren't protecting them, frustration eventually boils over.
But there's a big difference between protecting your neighbourhood and beating someone accused of theft. Without proper accountability, these groups always turn out to be another cartel. We have seen this movie a million times!
Another raid on Chapo Isidro's network, or are the Marines finally closing in on the man himself?
Mexican Marines are reportedly carrying out a major operation in Guasave, Sinaloa, targeting the Meza Flores organization, linked to cartel boss Chapo Isidro.
The white vehicle seen in the footage is reportedly equipped to jam communications, potentially cutting off cartel communications during the operation.
Remember when CJNG reportedly kidnapped 2 Mex🇲🇽 soldiers in Nayarit in 2025?
They appeared in a video accusing General Memphis Domínguez Moreno of ties to La Mayiza. Both were reportedly released, with Facebook posts supporting their military identities.
On January 22, 2026, Nayarit Noticias reported that the Fifth Military Region held a ceremony recognising personnel for outstanding operational results. Among those recognised was General Memphis Domínguez Moreno himself.
They praised his military performance, loyalty and professionalism🤝🤝
What happened to Miriam Cruz and her 12-year-old granddaughter is horrific, and I can understand why people are furious. But when a crowd starts deciding who lives and dies, there's no justice left in that either. How little faith must a community have in the authorities.
