We might find out in a few years that Trump 2.0 was by far the most corrupt Administration in American history. It isn’t just stories like this one. It was also the obvious playing of games with oil futures and prediction markets during the first few months of the Iran war. And also the people who made fortunes on insider trading just before announcements relating to tariffs and trade wars. And God knows what else.
And I haven’t even mentioned the Jared Kushner rumors, but only because these types of extraordinary claims still require extraordinary evidence.

At even a whiff of Russian action, it's pretty clear Romney would have:
1. Established a no-fly-zone over Ukraine, enforced by American aircraft.
2. Threatened immediate and overwhelming sanctions.
3. Promised Ukraine immediate military aid and support.
4. Embedded military advisors in the Ukrainian military.
5. Organized NATO and other willing nations to join in all the above actions.
He may have even committed ground troops to secure humanitarian corridors for fleeing refugees in Western Ukraine.
In other words, he would have done more than send MREs, which is about all Obama did. And it seems very unlikely that Putin would have done what he did when facing such a clear and strong statement from America and her allies.

According to the book, Kushner got Tillerson fired for a $50 million UAE payment because Tillerson supported Qatar. This panicked Qatar because they realized Kushner was a pay-to-play operative, so they bought Kushner's New York City apartments, which were in the red, hoping this would help.

🇺🇸Trump at 3:00 PM — Bought $1 million of Dell stock.
🇺🇸Trump at 4:00 PM — Americans Go out and buy a Dell computer. I have a son that loves their laptop.
In any functioning democracy, this would be called massive corruption and He would have faced at least 2 years in jail.

You know what they didn’t hack? 3200+ county election offices……
This is not ideal news a week before Election Day.
The Federal Election Commission's website has been targeted by hackers, disrupting the agency's electronic filings system.

GOP candidates are being undercut by stories of grift out of the White House.
"Drain the Swamp” falls flat when seemingly every week a new story comes out about the President’s family enriching itself.
It’s a huge challenge for GOP as they try to keep the House and Senate

This is rage-inducing. It’s not “child neglect” to let a 14-year-old babysit. Law enforcement also took these kids to their dad, who’s facing battery charges and has an active restraining order against him. How does that make *any* sense?
Bodycam footage shows Florida deputies arresting a mother at an airport after authorities say she left her four children, ages 9, 11, 12 and 14, home alone while traveling to Las Vegas for work.
Irene Miller, 50, was taken into custody Friday as she stepped off a plane. Two days earlier, one of her children had called 911 after a dumbbell fell on her 9-year-old brother's head.
When deputies arrived at the family's Kissimmee home, they found the children without adult supervision and had the injured boy taken to a hospital, where he was treated and released. Miller now faces four counts of child neglect.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Deputies said Miller arranged a babysitter from Tampa to check on the children mornings and after school but not overnight; she had filed for divorce from the father amid his recent battery charge and restraining order.

Another story impossible to imagine in any other administration: the president's son goes hunting with a Russian criminal who is part of Putin's security entourage
The trip highlights the remarkable relationship between a son of the US president and a tycoon with a criminal record who has close ties to Vladimir Putin’s personal security service. Intelligence experts say such connections are ripe for manipulation. ft.trib.al/p0LBRYI

When I read this stuff, I think, “Holy smokes! This is a massive scandal and security concern.”
When MAGA bros, who understand nothing about Kremlev or how Putin’s inner circle operates, they think “Who cares?”
But this is truly akin to partying with the Nazis during WWII.
Donald Trump Jr. spent time hunting in Mongolia this summer with Russian oligarch Umar Kremlev.
Reports reveal that Trump Jr. arrived in Mongolia in late August, where he was joined by Kremlev and oligarch Artur Martirosov, who flew in from Kazakhstan. The group spent two days together, supported by Kremlev’s staff of chefs, drivers, and local guides.
Records show the US Embassy in Mongolia spent $18,715 on hotel accommodations for a Secret Service detail stationed there from August 23 to September 6. (What does "mah tax dollar" crowd thinks of that, i wonder?)

I'm not saying that Russia wouldn't have invaded Ukraine if Romney had been elected President...
...no, actually, I'm saying it.

A few quick Jazz thoughts before my 9am.
1. Keyonte is turning it over too much (5.4 per 36) but we could live with that IF:
A. JJJ wasn’t turning it over too much also (4.7!! Per 36)
B. Collier wasn’t turning it over too much (4.6 per 36)
2. Flip has been very disappointing. He’s borderline unplayable vs matchups he could be used in. And he’s unplayable in other scenarios all together.
3. Key has the 2nd highest eFG on the team only behind Hayes. That’s nuts btw.
4. Collier should never take a pull-up 3 again in his life.
5. DP has to get more aggressive. He looks hesitant shooting 3s and I believe that’s hurt his shooting %. He’s thinking too much and not just playing fluid enough.
6. The defense has been bad. But a lot of that bad is from live ball turnovers. Cut those down and the defense will improve. Half court hasn’t been that bad.
7. Bench rotations a mess right now. Hardy is trying things out, probably will be somewhat matchup dependent, but I doubt we have a solidified bench rotation through the 1st 10 games.
8. Lauri needs more shots. Dudes an offensive machine. He’s extremely efficient. Some of that is teams just focusing on taking him away.
