In relief, puts 2 quick K’s on the board. Good command of heater sitting in the low 80s helping create whiffs.

West Virginia Coach Steve Sabins goes into great detail about the Biomechanics Lab that @WVUBaseball has on campus.
“For Courtney Semkewyc it was kind of a no brainer… She’s a unicorn - PHD in Biomechanics, that’s a baseball rat, that wants to be in a dugout, and be at practice all day, and grind. You can’t just go create that person or system.”

Hammers this 3-0 FB down the LF line for a loud double. Strong tools across the board with juice in the barrel.

My take on this has always been the same.
Driveline is just one piece of the puzzle. The mechanical side. And they are ELITE at just that side of development.
The 2nd piece is installing an offensive plan that can fit the player & the team identity.
I don’t blame Driveline. I blame the last 10 years of MLB teams hiring guys who don’t understand data and how it can be used to prepare your hitters to execute. Development is a joke at the big league level. NO organization can claim they develop a BIG LEAGUER.
How could they when they see them for only 6 months. It’s the other 6 months they haven’t figured out is where development comes. Don’t blame driveline, blame the ecosystem your setting at the MLB level down to the minor leaguers.
Also, it looks like the Driveline topic is only going to get louder and louder.
Some great insight from @ChrisCotillo and @Sean_McAdam about how the debate has only “intensified” from both sides since the firings.

The Underload really exposes sequencing and bat path issues
This is especially true when dealing with concentrically strong, upper body dominant hitters
