Enjoying some fascinating technology talks here at #GTSRC22 before #GIDistress takes the stage! @MaximeMMahe and Nancy Allbritton both building intestinal tissue from scratch.

It is an exhausting time to be in science right now. #WearAMask
I thought the same thing and these were the replies I got. If that is what the question was after, why pick a protein consisting of monomer subunits? Just to confuse things? If they are just asking how various amino acids interact, ask about protein folding.

Quarantine day 16: My sister set up a game of chick poop bingo over Facebook live. I'm not sure if people who didn't grow up in the country are familiar with rhis pastime, but this particular version involved 3 live chicks and a Lego maze.
Quarantine Day 11 Still mastering full time childcare/work from home but my NOA for my K01 came through today so it was a good day! Can't wait to (someday) get back into lab and get to work.

After seeing the #womeninScience posts yesterday, I have to share this pic of my 6yo niece, a future woman in STEM giving a presentation about coming to my lab. She's already armed with a personalized lab coat and lots of great questions!

Enjoying some post conference family time in Denver. Anyone know why Civic Center Park features a fountain with naked toddlers riding seals that are engaged in some type of water battle? I'm struggling to find the meaning.
