Why is Bitcoin dropping today? There’s been a lot of noise trying to link the move to MSCI’s DAT rules. But pinning today’s selloff on that is just retroactive storytelling. A price drop does not trigger forced BTC liquidation for these companies, and the proposal itself came out in October.
