I had these loaded in the chamber in Houston
Since there are 3+ attached units this gets treated as a 200 unit project
- sprinklers
- manhole for sewer
- storm drain connections
- etc
We can absorb 1 but not all 3
The fix?
Treat 3-4 unit projects also as residential

Cape Coral FL would like a word. It’s about to be ground zero for some serious pain in FL. 33 sq miles (of livable non canals/non preserve area) and 5,400+ homes for sale. And guess what doubled from 2021-2023 there…yep, Airbnb’s.
I lived in Lee County during the last spike of ‘01-‘06 spike and watched as prices in Cape Coral went INSANE. When the pest control techs at the company I worked for back then were telling me how rich they were going to get from the “canal lots” they were going to buy and flip, trouble was brewing there.
History has repeated itself, just a different decade.
