Food Security was a big theme #NFU23 conference:
@Minette_Batters βIt is not acceptable for fruit and vegetable growers to sell below the production line.β Ask: βGovernment need to commit with actions, not wordsβ
@timgbenton echoed: βFS is a national issue, not a market issueβ β at Birmingham, England
#NFU23 was very exciting, with a range of panels from across: political parties, industry bodies, scientists, and of course farm sectors.
An over arching message I heard was by @ashamirahmadi βFarmers are Leadersβ in #climatechange #foodsecurity #NetZero #diversification β at Birmingham, England
