SAMUEL NOBLEMAN OSASENAGA

My attention has been drawn to now-deleted political statements made by Edo State-owned football clubs. I am writing to unequivocally deny any involvement in or responsibility for recent posts on the X (Twitter) handle of [Bendel Insurance and Edo Queens]. I have not had access to this account and did not make any of the statements or share any of the content attributed to me. Please note that I ceased travelling with the team in November 2023, and afterwards, I ceased the occasional match updates on the handles from 3rd, March 2024 (as glaring to followers of the pages) at which time I submitted all relevant passwords to the Media Officer. For record purposes, on the 6th of March, 2024, I was removed from every official group of both teams on WhatsApp and logged out of the club’s official social media accounts (Facebook, X and even Gmail) as the passwords were changed. Ever since then, I have had no official affiliation with the clubs and moved on professionally — pictures attached. In between, I have on a series of occasions been threatened, asked to leave Edo state and slandered for reasons best known to whoever is doing that. I am deeply disappointed by the false accusations and rumours circulating online. I urge everyone to respect the truth and refrain from spreading misinformation. ========================= To the individual spreading these false claims, MAY YOU FIND PEACE AND COMFORT, ONLY IF I AM TRULY GUILTY OF WHAT I AM ACCUSED OF! ========================= Thank you for your understanding.
