Reimagining Defence Podcast

Next month, we interview Chris Brose, author of 'The Kill Chain', a book Gen Petraeus calls, "an exceptional guide to thinking about the military & tech revolutions that will produce a fundamental change to the character of war" **What questions would you like us to ask him?**

From @sgblank's new class: "Augustine's tongue-in-cheek conclusion was...by 2050 the entire def budget will purchase just 1 ✈️ & that ✈️ will have to be shared by the A Force & Navy for 3.5 days/wk, except on a leap yr when it will be available to the Marines for that extra day"

Delighted to feature in this months @soldiermagazine 💪 Definitely one for the scrapbook!

Throughout this series we’ve explored how exponential technologies will converge on computing and allow us to Reimagine Defence. In our final episode, we add one final thought to the mix - what will happen if computing itself is reimagined with the quantum computer? 🙇

What springs to mind when you think of the Internet of Things (IoT)? Alexa? In E6 we take a deep dive into more transformative examples of IoT, how these are revolutionising traditional industries like farming & how Defence can be reimagined, too. iTunes: buff.ly/37NpY2t

In Episode 6 we dive into Internet of Things (IoT) - how IoT devices are breaking down the final barriers between the physical and digital world, reinventing industries like farming... & how they might allow us to reimagine Defence 🎧 now on iTunes: buff.ly/37NpY2t

How long will it be until you find a quantum computer on your desk? A long while! Find out why in our final episode - on Quantum computing and how it might allow us to reimagine Defence. 🎧on iTunes:buff.ly/37NpY2t /Spotify: buff.ly/2MmIWCT

Imagine solar powered, portable, autonomous perimeter security. Shouldn’t be that difficult… since it already exists! In episode 6 we dive into how the internet of things (IoT) might allow us to reimagine base security amongst other aspects of Defence. 👉 buff.ly/37NpY2t

The favourite artist of people who listen to 'Reimagining Defence' (80% male) is Taylor Swift, according to Spotify stats. So glad I'm not the only closet Taylor fan in Defence. No better way to wash down a @ReDefPod episode on autonomous drones than "Shake it off".

Our final episodes, on the Internet of Things (aka. IoT) and Quantum computing are now out! We hope the series has been informative and provoked some conversation in the workplace. Please do continue to share 😎🙏iTunes: buff.ly/37NpY2t
