THE FERAL RESISTANCE: PROJECT FELIS A story from the future By the late 21st century, the world had become increasingly artificial. Machines controlled ecosystems, robotic animals replaced wildlife, and humanity slowly lost its connection to the natural world. But deep beneath abandoned medical facilities, a secret movement was preparing to change the future. An underground collective of renegade bioengineers launched Project FELIS — an ambitious biological experiment to create a new stalking species of anthropomorphic feline, combining animal instincts with human-like characteristics. What began as a single experiment soon became a much greater vision. Other animal lineages followed, driven by the desire to restore biodiversity and reconnect the living biosphere. They called themselves The Feral Resistance. Their goal was not to conquer nature, but to reconnect it — bringing humans, animals, and newly emerging biological species into a shared living world, free from total dependence on machines and artificial systems. As their movement grew, their philosophy became a declaration for a new era: "We are not separate from nature. We are part of one living biosphere. We will restore the connections between all living beings. Life must evolve together, not be replaced by machines. Nature is not obsolete. The future belongs to the living."
